I haven't tried the hot dogs, but the drinks are strong and they have pinball machines and video games. If you are not a pinball master, "Martian Attack" is a good game to try as you can play it for a while and feel like you are getting a decent score even if you really aren't any good at all. The bar doesn't have much in the way of ambiance and attracts a crowd that doesn't really want to be bothered, but if you are in the mood for some pinball this is the place to go.

The Sitting Room is a great restaurant / bar in lower Queen Anne that is off the radar. The place has a good buzz, an eclectic mix of customers, and a real local feel. The cocktails are strong but tasty (my favorite is the pomegranate martini) and standard in price. The food menu is simple but it does not disappoint. My friends and I tried the Panino #3 (with brie, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes), the cheese board, the salami and cornichons (pickles), and the Spanish blue / bosc pears / walnut salad. The portions were generous. The staff was pretty friendly and attentive.

There is a reason why they named this pizza joint Stellar Pizza. The crust is excellent -- good thickness, good flavor, good crispiness. They have a pretty good selection of fresh toppings which they do not skimp on (especially the cheese) and you can choose between marinara, olive oil or pesto sauce. Pizzas come in one size but you can order a full or a half. They also have calzones (haven't tried these yet), salads and sandwiches. They have cheap beer and root beer on tap. The atmosphere is a bit funky & old diner-ish and its location in Georgetown makes it out-of-the-way, but I'd say it's worth a try.

We went in a large group so we were able to try just about everything on the menu. I would recommend staying away from anything seafood -- the clams, mussels, octopus and salmon were all over cooked and chewy -- but there are a lot of other tasty things to try. My favorites were the prosciutto and bechamel flatbread, the pork tenderloin and the flank steak. The desserts were pretty good although we didn't try the chocolate cake with ice cream which looked delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size ($8/plate for main dishes, $7/plate for desserts). They have a good wine menu at reasonable prices (<$30/bottle). The wait staff was a bit flaky and inattentive and there really isn't enough space to stand while waiting for a table, but the overall experience was good and I would definitely go back for the flatbread.

India Express is a great-for-Seattle Indian restaurant. They have excellent naan, rice comes with every dish, and the entrees are good all around. Among my favorites: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Jalfrazi (mix of chicken and veggies but less of a curry) and Alu Gobi. The only thing that I would not recommend is the Dal Mukhni which did not have much flavor. Prices are very reasonable for Indian. Be careful when considering spiciness as even medium is quite spicy. The staff is nice but there is not much in the way of ambiance so I would suggest getting food to go (or they deliver).

Il Terrazzo Carmine is the best Italian that I have had in Seattle. The pastas are great (excellent carbonara), the appetizers are tasty (take a peek at the appetizer bar as you enter), the entrees are delicious (my favorite is the veal scaloppine-- tender, excellent flavor and light sauce), and the service is good (I'm talking career waiters here -- they dole out the appetizers so that nothing goes to waste). The prices are expensive but worth it for the quality of food that you get ($15 for a full plate pasta, $25 for an entree). The crowd is a bit older. This is definitely a great place to take the parents or relatives when they are in town.

If you have curly hair and want a great, trendy haircut you must go to this place and have Cori cut your hair. She loves cutting curly hair and does a great job (i.e. she is able to cut layers into curly hair so that you won't end up with 2 haircuts (curly haired women you know what I mean)). The staff is fairly friendly and the ambiance is good. Cuts are a bit pricy ($60) but worth every penny.

I would NOT recommend this dentist. She finds 2 cavities in every patient that she sees (5/5 of my coworkers/friends and I). As I have only had 1 cavity in 28 years (and it was from a broken tooth) I asked why all of a sudden I had 2 cavities and she could not give me a satisfactory answer. Plus she was not friendly.
The only good thing I will say is that they give you a parking token for the Pacific Place garage (although just about every dentist in the building gives these) and the hygienists are very thorough (~1 hour to clean, albeit a bit painful).
FYI...I just had an appointment with my second opinion dentist (Dr. Roger J. Harper)...he told me that I do not have any cavities, just some minor staining. He said the most he would recommend (if the staining gets worse) is to seal the teeth.

Jamjuree Thai is the best that I've tasted in Seattle. The ingredients are all very fresh and every dish that I have tasted has been great -- even the waitress admitted that she loves the food there. My favorite dishes are Tom Kha Soup (good flavor and spice but it has cabbage), Basil Chicken (good flavor-spice balance and tender chicken), Oyster Beef (lots of veggies and tender beef), and Thai Red Curry (great flavor, good proportions of veggies to meat and hurray! no eggplant). The portion size is just right, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is good. The layout is a bit odd but the food is so good you won't notice.
