My daughter went to this school for a year. When we started, we were very happy with the school. They were very friendly, helpful, consistent, reliable, honest, and thorough. As the months past, things changed. The staff turnover rate suddenly increased dramatically. The communication went to non existent as did the honesty. We ended up pulling my daughter out and finding a new preschool. We should have done it a lot earlier, but kept waiting for and hoping that PFCC would get their act together. Very disappointed, especially since they were so great in the beginning.

Everyone knows that there are a lot of weight loss programs out there with a lot of options ot choose from. Weight watchers is a fantastic option and I would highly recommend it. The program teaches you healthy alternatives that fit right into your current lifestyle. Nothing is off limits and the point system is very easy to use. The results are real and they are lasting. There are weekly group meetings if you want group support and the people are wonderful. They also have an online program that is easy to use. This is a great program!

Dairy Queen is Dairy Queen, right? WRONG! This Dairy Queen on 7th street and Union Hills is horrible! I will never go back there again. The service was horrendous and it was extremely slow. They did not have specific items that you would expect at an ice cream shop (is sprinkles) and were completely rude about it. (I get them all the time at another Dariy Queen). I heard the phrase "we dont do that at this Dairy Queen" used at least 5 times (not just to me-to other customers as well). I had my order to go, so I only looked to make sure they had the right items in the bag. Guess what? Yep, the order was wrong! They gave us the wrong kind of blizzard and it wasnt even mixed up-I had to stir it awhile to mix it all up. They also forgot to include spoons and napkins-no biggie since I was at home, but it would have been a huge deal if we had wanted to eat in the car or somewhere on the run. This place was horrible from beginning to end. I will drive out of my way before every going back.

Mimi's is a french style cafe and restautant. They feature an adorable old style french decor that looks right out of a movie. The food is french and american with a homemake, comfort food, quality to the dishes. I have only been there for breakfast and lunch (and brunch), so have never tried dinner there. The have amazing breakfast with lots of homemade breads, pastires, french toast, etc. The food is excellent and the price reasaonble. It is a great place to take your mom too or to go with friends. Sunday mornings are crazy and expect to wait for a table if you go during prime breakast or brunch hours. The service was good and the staff friendly.

On the Border is a chain brand Mexican Restaurtant and Catina. The drinks and margaritas are delicious. The food is more on the "fancy" or high end scale and therefore a bit pricey. They are caterering to a specific group of people and it is not the authentic Mexican food that usually comes to mind. That being said, it is very good food. It is usually very crowded and there is usually a wait for a table. The drinks and excellent and the bar is usually pretty crowded as well. If you dont mind the higher price and are looking for more of an upscale slant to your Mexican cuisine then you should defintely try On the Border.

Call me crazy, but I had never been to a Del Taco before. I have heard about it and of course, seen all the commercials, so I thought it was time to check it out. I was very suprised to see that they have hamburgers there as well as mexican food. I thought it was a bit weird that there value meals come with fries. Who has fries with a burrito? I tried it. It is a bit expensive for fast food (especially mexican) and the burritos/tacos, etc are very small. The fry order is huge. The food is good. Defintely tasty, but not quite worth the price vs portion. I would not have minded the prices, if my works buttiot was truly a works burrito. All in all very disappointing.

The Phoenix Zoo is an amazing, educational, always changing, enjoyable place for everyone of all ages. They are in the top 5 zoos for kids in the enitre country (no small feat). There is so much do to and see, I could begin to write it all out.
They are constantly expanding, evaluating, changing, and refurbishing for the greater good of the animals. The phoenix zoo is considered an animal sanctuary. In otherwords, when an animal outlives its "usefullness" to someone else (ie zoo, circus, et el) the zoo will take them in and care for them, in as natural enviornment as possible, until their deaths.
If you go during the warmer days, be sure to take a bathing suit or some dry clothes, as they have a water splash play area which has water shooting up from the ground. The kids love to run though with squeal of delight!
If you are going for the first time and do not have time for all of it-you must be sure to go to Monkey Village-it is an amazing experience and you are very likely to come face to face (literally) with the adorable spider monkey.
If you go more than once a year, a membership is a definte. You can also buy a zoo plastic cup-that way everytime you refill it-it is only a dollar. Great deal.
There is so much to do and see, with so many extra activities offered-you might want to check out their website as well. It is very user friendly.

This physical therapy office is located in North Scottsdale. It claims to have one on one patient care with each patient receiving and hour of the licesened therapists undivided attention. This is not the case. Patients overlap and secretary/office person spends most of her time in the pool room overseeing patients (while answering phones, scheduling, etc). The office in general is a nice little space. The therapists are not there full time and are not very accomaditating to patients schedules. It does have a small, but nice chemical free, pool for aquatic therapy. This does not, however, justify the poor customer service.

This is a fantastic discount book store located next to Targe at Paradise Valley Mall. It is a fairly expansive store with a huge selection. The store is always very clean and tidy. The customer service is excellent and the staff seems to be very knowledgable. The prices are usually at least half of regular book stores, including discount retailers such as Target or Wal-Mart. The store is organized into sections so finding what you need should be farily simple. The hardest part will be deciding how many books to buy! If you are just browing-it can get overwhelming, as there is such an expansive collection. This is a wonderful place to pick up childrens books and paperbacks. They have a huge section of $1 paperbacks-perfect for summer, easy, relaxing reads. There is also a nice collection of music, computer programs, and movies. I picked up a pc educational game for my daughter really chep there-and she loves it! If you have a stack of books at home that you want to get rid of-they will buy your books as well. (athough most of their books come from publishers, etc)

My beloved dog was very, very sick. I have recently moved to the NW valley and had not located a vet yet. I called Deer Creek and they got me in right away-even though I was a new client. The staff is wonderful as are most of the vets. The head vet/owner was a bit standoffish, but very effecient, thorough, and knowledgable. The employees were very helpful and everyone there is very compassionate. While I went through the hardest time of my life, they were very comforting and reassuring. They were just great, with lots of follow up.
