This chain is all over the bay area and I think this one is very similar to the others. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. The pizzas are good when you get lots of toppings, but I think that they're a little expensive for what you get. They also have sandwiches, but I'd rather go somewhere else for those. I think this is the first restaurant of the many others that popped up from this chain, so I guess it has some history. Overall, it's just alright.

This is a great spot to head after your softball game in the summer. Unfortunately, everyone has this idea and it can get pretty crowded during the summer nights. The food is fine. The pizza is yummy. I like the chicken wings (spicy!), and the burgers are always good. The beer is reasonable. They've got TVs to watch the games and usually have a variety of things on (baseball, tennis, etc.). Fun spot I'd highly recommend.

I love Togos. I love the turkey and avocado sandwich (which is somehow sometimes not on the menu. Ask for it!). This is a fine location and the service is fast and the sandwiches are almost always good. I would say that the neighborhood maybe isn't the best. It's fine safety-wise during the week because a lot of people from the industrial complexes come by, but I had some bad experiences on the weekend where I was harassed by people hanging out outside. Maybe just avoid it then.

I've been to Sneakers a bunch of times, but really only when City Pub was too crowded. Their menu is pretty standard and actually is pretty lengthy, but it takes forever to get the food and I always feel like by the end I'm feeling bad for the waitress because there must be something wrong with her to have so many things go wrong. Maybe it's not me, and it's them. The service just isn't that great. Also, the coke isn't coke or Pepsi. I don't know if it's generic or something, but it's not good. I'd steer clear.

Okay, so it's a taqueria. Don't expect much more than that, but expect some really good burritos. They are top notch and a totally reasonable price. It's a fun stop for lunch on a weekday if you want something quick, easy and filling. They offer alcoholic beverages along with cans of soda. I honestly haven't ever had anything other than a burrito, but the platters look good and similar to the burritos, are of good portion size.

The location and ambiance make this place worth what you're paying for the meal. The food is fine and arrived in a fine amount of time, but our the waitstaff have never been overly attentive. I just think that at a semi-upscale resturant you shouldn't have to ask for your water glass to be refilled. If you can squeeze yourself a spot at the bar it's fun to watch the chef prepare some meals. It gets really crowded at night and on the weekend. We probably have had our fill of visits here and won't go back again.

I think that Thai Time is some of the best Thai food in the Bay Area. You can go to the city and pay a bunch more, or you can head to little San Carlos and have a great meal. My favorite is the PaGraProw, which has an amazing combination of spices. They get a little busy for lunch, and the parking lot can get crowded, but I've never had a real problem getting a table. The staff is fine, and they get the food out to you in a reasonable amount of time. Honestly, the food is so good that if it were served in a shack I'd probably still go back.

Stacks has so much more on the menu than the normal brunch options. The portions are exceptional, and my favorite is the fruit crepe. I went here almost weekly for a year before I ventured on to the lunch menu and discovered that there are a ton of amazing and amazingly huge salads. The place gets busy, especially on the weekend, but they let you wait outside and have coffee there to sip on. They also opened a Stacks in Menlo Park a couple years ago, but I'm still a fan of the original.

I like that City Pub is consistent. Every time I go I can get a yummy crab cake sandwhich with their yummy signature fries and know exactly what to expect. My husband is a fan of the beer selection and when they make him a black and tan. Best in the summer or spring when you can sit outside. It gets crowded, but it really should! The food is good and so is the beer and the prices are similar to a chain, but you get so much more.

what you're in for, the pub can be a fun place. It's not the most upscale bar in Madison (by far), but it's a fun time. Now that smoking is banned in Madison, the pub seems like such a different place. You used to be thankful if you could see 2 feet in front of you through the cloud of smoke. They have bands here on the weekends that often demand a cover, and are seldom worth the money. The beer is crazy cheap and the foosball and darts are fun.
