This is the epitome of what I expect a bowling alley to be. Lots of lane, not too much character. The staff was friendly, and it wasn't overly crowded on a Saturday afternoon so that was nice. They had a good selection of balls and the prices were better than some of the other bowling alleys I have been to in the area. It smells a little smoky, but I guess that's pretty much expected in a bowling alley in St. Louis. I would return for a fun time bowling.

I never understand why this restaurant is so crowded all the time. Everytime I've gone in here it's been really smoky (even in the non-smoking section) and the food is just okay. I have gotten a couple of good salads, but nothing to write home about. It's pretty much on par to some of the other similar chain restaurants if you want a burger and fries. Our service was okay, although there is supposed to be some deal where they get it to you in a certain amount of time or you get the lunch free and I'm pretty sure we went over that limit.

Target has really upped it's game in the past few years. I find that they have improved the quality of their products such that they can compete with a lot of the upper brands. They have a great selection of home decor, outdoor and indoor furniture, some good quality clothing, and then all the things you would find in a drug store. I get such a better feeling in here compared to some of their competitors, which can be so disheveled. The return policy is so fast now too, they just need the credit card you bought the item with, and they credit it back to that. Even without a receipt!

We used to go here a lot, but found that you can really get better deals on dvd rentals if you go any of a number of other places. We only really go here anymore when there is a particular movie that we really want to see and know it will likely be out of stock somewhere else. They have many more copies of the new releases than other places, but it's so much more expensive I'm not sure it's worth it. We found that you can pay less for netflix or blockbuster online and have the movie delivered to your doorstep.

I love this restaurant. They can get crowded on the weekend nights so I suggest you make a reservation. It kind of turns into a club with half of the place a bar. The food is so good and a really good value for a nice spot in Clayton. My favorites are the goat cheese, calamari, and beef tips. They're just fantastic. The Sangria is just okay. I'd get a glass of wine next time. It's a fun place and a great time to try out a bunch of new things because you're only getting a little platter if you end up not liking it. We found that 2-3 plates is fine per person.

Bread Co. was one of my favorite discoveries after moving to St. Louis. The have a great "pick two" lunch option where you can get 2 of soup, salad or sandwich. I have loved all the sandwiches that I've tried and the salads are great too. Try and order a sandwich on one of the foccacia like breads. They're heaven. It does get busy on workday lunch hours, but they cruise through the line pretty quickly. The indoor seating is nice where they have kind of a greenhouse to sit in which is all windows and makes you feel like you're outside, but you don't have to deal with St. Louis summer heat.

I have had a lot of different kinds of custard, but I think that Kopps is really the absolute best. It's very rich and filling so you really can't eat more than a small. The butter burgers are decadent and are really more of a special occasion thing. I agree with the above poster who said you should bring out of town guests, especially in the summer when you can sit outside and eat. This is just a fun part of Milwaukee. This is exactly what a good restaurant should be. The service was great. The food was exceptional. My husband always gets the steak and I cannot believe it, but he eats the entire thing. Can't stand to leave any behind. I often get the shrimp, which when cut seem like steaks in themselves. They were the biggest best shrimp I've ever had. The atmosphere is great. We sat there for a couple hours eating and drinking and were never made to feel like we had to leave. I had a great time.

My in-laws have fallen in love with this place, and we have gone with them a couple times. The atmosphere is great. They have pretty much the best views you can get in Milwaukee and many large windows all along the walls. The food was fine. I actually think the best part was the vinaigrette for bread dipping. The service was fine too. I just think that you can get better food for that price. In my opinion they're taking a little advantage of the organic seeking market and charging more than they should.

When the prices are better we opt to fly into Milwaukee instead of Chicago. The airport is much smaller and thus much less chaotic. It has everything you'd need in an airport (although a pretty small food court), and even has a nice used bookstore which I think is a really good idea. The fares can be more expensive to fly into Milwaukee because it's smaller, but there are times when I've found much cheaper flights because I think the businessmen who have more money to spend would rather fly into O'Hare so they're trying to get people to fly into Milwaukee by lowering fares. So keep your eye out for that.
