I have always found Hot Topic to be intimidating and way overpriced. The employees have never seemed very friendly and the ambiance is actually a little bleak and depressing to me. Their merchandise is packed into a tiny little space and it is hard to maneuver around the store very easily. The style in this store is definitely for a small majority of people.
