If you hate the overpriced, BS world of car audio you find at chains like Circuit City and Best Buy, Elite Audio is the place for you. Although it may take a little longer and not be as structured as a big chain, you will be satisfied and if something is wrong, they will fix it with no hesitation or run-around. The prices are reasonable, and the installation prices are below average. If you want Elite Sound, you want Elite Audio.

This is by far the best barbershop ive been to in Erie. I have tried a handful of places in Erie to get my hair cut for years. This year I discovered the Continental. It looks just like a normal shop, and the barbers have up their own choice of pictures and sports memorabilia. The price is very reasonable at $10 a cut. I usually spend about $15 total including tip. I am very picky about my hair and always go home happy. I suggest Damon Spiteri, however I have never seen anyone dissatisfied using someone else. Damon is in Tuesday and Wednesday by appointments only from 4pm-8pm and open to walk-ins on thursday and friday from 10am-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm. I usually go in the afternoon on Friday and the longest Ive had to wait is about 20 minutes.

This is by far, the worst restaurant in Erie that I have ever been to. I had reservations here for what I thought would be a nice Italian Valentines Day Dinner. When we got there, it looked nice inside. We each ordered different pasta dishes, that took a very long time to come to us. During this time, I must mention it was towards the end of the night, but we did have reservations. The workers were cleaning, sweeping, and talking across the room the whole time we were waiting for our food. It was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen. We were sitting there trying to have conversation and not 10 feet from us one girl was sweeping, while 2 workers across the room were flirting in plain sight. And that was before the food. The pasta was unsatisfactory, seemed to be pre-prepared and it was very chewy. My date also disliked her food, and it was a little off from what was described. After the long wait for the poor food and the sub-par service for the huge price tag, I asked if I could speak with the manager. I told him of my dissatisfaction, and it seemed that he could care less, he did not offer any reimbursement or discount on our bill and was actually kind of a jerk to me. He was an older man, and just because im 20 doesnt mean he shouldnt treat me with respect like any other customer. I would never go back to this place even if it was free. Horrible management, bad food, high prices.
Reviewing this restaurant was the reason i became a member on this site, just to give you an idea of how much i disliked my visit.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Erie. The restaurant actually used to be the old Firehouse downtown, and they have a lot of old memorabilia inside and on the walls. Although it is a nicer restaurant, you wont be out of place dressed casually. The food is reasonably priced and I have never been unhappy with the food or the service. The only thing is, the brunch is a little too high priced. It is all you can eat, but its around 14 dollars, so unless you have a big appetite, id stay away from that.

I have been to Panos Restaurant many times, and what you see is what you get. The food is always pretty good, nothing amazing, and the service can either be great or awful. I have gotten servers that are completely upleasant from the get go because I was in a large group of 19-21 year olds. I have also gotten servers that are very nice and friendly. I think the main difference is the unpleasant ones are usually older bitter women that assume we arent going to order anything or tip, when in reality they are just stereotyping and we were planning on just eating something and tipping and leaving, just like anyone else. So if you go in a large group, dont expect to get great happy service, otherwise, its a good restaurant with consistently good food.

I have heard great things, and I have heard not so great things about Hectors. Finally I had to try it. I am used to authentic Italian food, and although this has the look of an independent authentic Italian restaurant, i beg to differ. The spaghetti was thick, short, and chewy, and the sauce was a little too tomato-ey. It just seems as if it wasn't cooked very long. However, I did just try this restaurant once, so it could have just been a bad day!
