Great place to have a baby

St. Mary's has the best newborn care in the area. When my baby was born with a feeding problem, the lactation consultants and nurses took great care of us, even arranging for us to stay an extra day at minimal cost to use after the insurance wouldn't pay. Other hospitals had baby-unfriendly policies, like restrictions on rooming in and when the baby was "allowed" to be brought from the nursery to mom to nurse (when it was convenient for the nurse shift schedule!). We saw none of this at St. Mary's.
