Red Butte Gardens is one of the most beautiful places you can visit in the spring and summer in the Salt Lake Valley. The outdoor gardens hold gorgeous flowers and plants--some that one may have never seen before. It is a peaceful and relaxing place to take a picnic and nice book to sit back and relax in. The gift shop has some neat items. It is one of my favorite places to go during the summer nights in Utah.
There are also many music events that take place throughout the seasons. I've been to an evening jazz concert and was in heaven sitting back in my chair, taking it all in. Ahhhhh.
Definitely a place worth visiting.
