When visiting The Gateway and eating in their food court, I like to eat at Taco Time. Taco Time has decent food for fast food Mexican. The meat that they use isn't seasoned too heavy. It is actually a little on the bland side so you can spice it up to your likings with the different salsa and hot sauce that is available. My favorite thing to order is their classic hard shell taco and a drink. I usually get the combo and it comes with 2 hard shell tacos, and order of their tots and a drink. I use their mild sauce on it and it makes a great quick meal!

This Rite Aid is convenient to go to if you're in downtown Salt Lake City, but that is about it. This place is down right scary to shop in. It bothers me that the employees that work there have to watch you like a hawk and follow you around in the store to make sure you aren't going to steal. It bugs me to no end--I'll be trying to decide on some hairspray to purchase and the sales clerk is right over my shoulder breathing down my neck. I really try to avoid going to this particular location because of that. The store is always a big mess too, and that makes it hard to shop in.

What a great place to go to get away from the norm! In the two different times that I've dined at Biaggi's, I have left happy and really enjoyed my meal. Their prices start at around $13 and up for entrées. I've gotten the Chicken Parmesan both of the times I've gone. It is $14 and there is a LOT of food. I've taken my leftovers home with me. The atmosphere in the restaurant is what you'd expect for a finer dining Italian restaurant. It is NOTHING like the Olive Garden, so don't expect that. It's a great place to go for a nice evening out with your loved one or to take/meet up with friends. I highly recommend going.

This place is a fake Rodizzio. I was excited to go when my husband and I went. Being located at the Gateway, we were thrilled because it is a convenient location. We went right after we went to the movies. The place wasn't full when we got there. There were lots of empty tables. As far as the food--it was just 'okay' in my opinion. I was comparing it to what I've had at Rodizzio's, so maybe that isn't fair. I was really disappointed in the salad bar selections. I had hoped for much more. Our service wasn't the best it could be. We constantly had to flag down our server to get drink refills. That made my husband get irritated. When we left, we decided that was the first and last time we'd ever go. Not a good experience.

The Centerville Target is the closest Target for me to drive to living in downtown Salt Lake City. It is only about a 10 minute drive with no traffic, so I usually try to plan my trips around that....
The Centerville Target is the closest Target for me to drive to living in downtown Salt Lake City. It is only about a 10 minute drive with no traffic, so I usually try to plan my trips around that. I also prefer this Target location over some of the others in the valley because it is a fairly organized and clean store compared to the others. I think that must have to do with the management and the associates that work there.
As far as 'deals' that you can find, you sometimes have to dig for them. The markdowns are usually all up to date and the shelves stocked. As a shopper, I appreciate this. It makes my life easier so I can go in, get what I need and leave.

Are you prepared for an emergency? These days, many people are making sure they are by stocking up their homes with the things they need to survive if something drastic did happen. Emergency Essentials is a great place to shop and get the things you need to do so. You can get about anything you need from food storage items to camping supplies to the containers to store everything in. If you go in the store, you can literally shop in there for hours just looking at everything they have. You'll see things that you wouldn't think that you would need, but in actuality you do. Their website is great too. I've been happy and satisfied with all my purchases made from them and definitely recommend them to you!

Fashion Place Mall is a great mall to go to in the Salt Lake Valley. It is centrally located and easy to get to. There are 4 anchor stores - Sears, Dillard's, Macy's and Nordstrom. This mall has pretty much all the stores that you need when shopping as well as a food court. There are also restaurants in the perimeter of the parking lot so you will have lots to choose from when it comes to eating. During busy/peak shopping times the parking lot can be hard to navigate--it fills up fast! Overall, Fashion Place Mall is a great shopping destination.

You don't need to call ahead and order--all you do is just go into the joint and tell them you want a $5 pizza and they have them fresh, hot, and ready to go for you. You can't beat that! Their pepperoni pizza doesn't taste half bad either! This particular location has nice employees that seem to enjoy their job.

I usually only shop at Best Buy when I want to see a product "in person" before I buy it. (I can usually find the item(s) cheaper somewhere else). Of all the times that I've been to the location on 21st South, I have had a really hard time trying to get help. When I say help, I mean help/assistance from a KNOWLEDGEABLE employee, not one that is just making up things as he/she goes along. I do like the fact that their employees aren't on commission, but sometimes it isn't such a great thing because it interferes with how much quality help you do get.

Wow, how disappointing was this choice of a restaurant for dinner. My husband and I met some friends there (they were in Salt Lake from out of town), so we thought it would be a cool place to go. When we first walked in, we really liked the atmosphere and the way the place was decorated. We weren't greeted right away and once we were, we had a hard time getting our waitress to come to our table. The place wasn't even that busy. The food was just so-so, but the thing that made it taste even worse than it actually was, was the terrible service that we had. It really was disappointing. Our friends did buy a T-shirt when we were leaving and we were joking with them that it would help them to remember their crappy experience there!
