I had booked our stay through travelocity.com and the only option was two double beds. I called Days Inn in advance and asked if any queens or kings were available and they said to request that when we arrived. To our surprise, they upgraded us to a queen and also a suite (with a kitchenette) at no extra charge! We had a fantastic experience with all of the staff, they were prompt in all and any requests we had. They provided great information about transportation and also about the VAST array of restaurants available in this area. (Fabulous cuisine ranging from American to Thai to Peruvian to Turkish, delicious!) It was incredibly easy to get where we needed to go, a quick bus ride to the metro, so you could get anywhere in DC fast & cheap. Thank you Days Inn for providing us with a comfortable, inexpensive, and accomodating place to stay!
