Our family loves Frederik Meijer Gardens! My children love it for the Lena Meijer Children's Garden which has so many fascinating and educational activities to do. My husband and I love it for the sculptures, exhibits, and summer concerts! We enjoy it so much that we have purchased a membership and will continue to renew it every year!

Wow! This place is awesome! My children (ages 5 and 2) can spend hours here and never get bored! The museum has so many activities for both of my children. I especially like the special classes and crafts that are offered for no additional cost. From the bubble makers, to the instruments, to the construction zone, the museum is a destination that is well worth the cost of admission! The only way to improve would be to have on site parking. The meters out front are always full and the closest parking lot is still a bit of a hike...especially in the winter with 2 kids in tow.

My husband used The Tile Shop when he was installing a shower in our basement. He had never done anything like this before and turned to this store for help. The employees were great! They not only helped him choose the size and color of the tile, but they walked him step by step through the process and showed him what tools and materials he would need to see the job through. Without their help, I shudder to think what the shower would have looked like!

Although small, they offer a large variety of dresses both for the bride and bridesmaids. The employees work closely with you throughout the time you are trying on dresses and don't leave you hanging there in the dressing room with no one to help. The store offers a discount for paying the entire sum up front and offers discounts if you get the bridesmaid dresses as well as your gown.

We visit this farm every fall and it never fails to be a great time for family fun! The staff is very friendly and receptive to children. Activities for kids include: hay rides to the pumpkin patch, a train ride, a hay maze, an animal petting area, a craft area, and playground. For the reasonable price of $5.00 a ticket, we spent the whole afternoon having a great time. And, they make the best pumpkin doughnuts I have ever eaten!!

We recently purchased a living room set from Talsma Furniture and were very pleased with every aspect of the sale. We were welcomed into the showroom by a sales associate, but not hoovered over like at some other retail furniture stores. The salesperson answered all of our questions and did not push us for a sale. There were many patterns and fabrics to choose from for the sofa/chair we were looking for. When we made our final decision, our furniture arrived in a very timely manner. A+ service!

I recently found out about this great shop! The idea is to start with a plain, unpainted ceramic piece and paint/decorate it as you wish and the store will fire it for you. The store provides all of the paint, brushes, stencils, and many ideas too! The atmosphere is very cozy and you can bring food and drink in and make a night of it! The staff was very friendly and offered some very helpful hints to a novice like me! The happily accomodate larger groups for outings as well.

The packages that they offer are very reasonably priced and they often run sales and special promotions. Their inventory of swimwear in incredible! The keep their swimwear stocked year round, so that even in the dead of winter, there is no problem finding a bathing suit for a vacation or cruise!

I don't bowl very often, but when I do, I take the family to Spectrum Lanes. This bowling alley is different from many others in the area in that it is clean, and kid-friendly. They have many hours of open bowling and also ramps and bumpers available for the kids. There is a restaurant attached to the alley, so all of our snacking/drinking needs are met as well. I would highly recomment this alley to those who have children.
