This place has a great selection of foods and health items. You can get any type of supplement that you can imagine here. I was in search of a herbal mosquito repellent for my baby and the staff was extremely helpful. They have a little cafe there but the selection is pretty slim if you're looking for lunch. The location is great right in the Metro Center.

This is the best selection of health foods in Champaign-Urbana. You can get just about anything you can dream up and their herbal supplements are great as well. The few times I went it was hit or miss with the staff- sometimes they were really helpful and other times they were in the dark. As the other reviewer mentioned- they have a cafe with great sandwiches and salads, but I haven't tried much else.

My husband and I have a habit of going to a new bed and breakfast for each anniversary. With a new baby the budget was tight and location near the in-laws was critical. We had a great time here. The owners were friendly and we opted for the gift certificate for breakfast instead of the continental breakfast there. It was a charming little bed and breakfast but you get what you pay for- no great food or extensive hospitality (some have free wine parties before dinner and cookies in the room).

When I moved here I looked for someone with a great haircut and they referred me to Life Styles. When you walk in it's lacking that "glamor spa" type feel and it's a little chaotic, but you do get to pick your hair stylist. I would highly recommend Megan she's great! You might not get the glamour treatment but you get to meet a lot of people and you get a good hair cut to boot!

This group is fantastic. They do work in the Binghampton neighborhood (one of the poorest) in Memphis. Their staff is fantastic and they do a great job of making home repairs for families in need....

The accommodations you'll find at this hotel are abotu what you'd expect for a Holiday Inn. Their restaurant does have a good brunch though. They'll make your omelet and all the other traditional breakfast fixings. The location is great- right off of I-74 so if you're travelling it's the place to go. You won't find many restaurants around that part of Champaign so head back to the Neil St exit if you want to eat somewhere other than at the hotel.

This park has a lot to offer a family- especially during the hot midwest summers. You do have to brave many lines- but that's expected in an amusement park. There's a lot to do- for all ages of kids. The roller coasters (especially Mr. Freeze) are pretty good. The nice thing is you can go and change in your vehicle and then go to the waterpark which is excellent. I spent the day there in July with a group of middle schoolers and they had the time of their lives!

Six Flags is a great place for family fun. They have some great roller coasters and if you go during the week or on an overcast or drizzly (not rainy) day you can actually avoid the major lines which helps. They do have passes you can purchase that allow you to move to the front of the line on some rides which, if it's crowded, are a great investment. Be prepared to take a hit in the wallet though! Also, there is no water park like many of the other Six Flags parks.

Apple Blossom Farm is a good time for the family. There are bigger orchards like this one in the area but this is the closest to Peoria for sure. There is a pumpkin patch, a giant slide, a petting zoo, and much more. You can even take hayrides or ride on go-cards. During the day entrance is free and it's only $3 for kids older than 3 on the weekends. The apple blossoms did freeze last year so this year you couldn't pick any apples which was a bummer.

There is so much to do here! The exhibits are great and expansive. You could literally spend days here. There are a few drawbacks- parking lot is usually full so be prepared to hike! You have to pay quite a bit to get in and the Omnitheatre is an additional charge! Pack your own lunch or snacks because you can pay an arm and a leg for food there!
