the hawaiian bread is their keystone

Sunday, December 11, 2005
a bakery attached to a restaurant, or a restaurant attached to a bakery? in any case, this place delivers decent hawaiian food, and good cakes for little birthday parties and the like. the laulau is very tasty, but the kalua pork is quite salty. the macaroni salad is again saltier than what i've had before, but it wasn't the end of the world. service is brisk, and portions are large. the bakery is bright and filled with lots of tempting options. a coworker insists on their chocolate cake, but i wasn't impressed. for better hawaiian, there's back home in lahaina on PCH...
