Triangle Lake Montessori Elementary School

Triangle Lake is a Magnet school in the Guilford County School system, open to all county residents. Enrollment is limited and determined by raffle. The Montessori program is excellent, though it is not strictly the original Montessori curriculum. Children work in a non-traditional classroom with two teachers, using developmentally appropriate tools to learn concepts and topics. Courses of study are strongly influenced student interests, and reading and math skills are heavily emphasized.
