i've been to sapphire two or three times now, and usually walk away thinking that maybe they had an off night. by now i'm convinced that they are just an ok restaurant.
the decor is nice, the place is cozy and the drinks are good. the food is very nice with a large variety, including lots of tapas, several salads, and full dinner plates too. the food wasn't outstanding but it was very nice.
my main complaint about them was the service. it was sllllooooooow. in an almost-empty restaurant it took over 5 minutes until they took our drink order, and then at least another 10 minutes until they took our dinner order. by then we were starving and when our waitress finally brought out some bread i thought we were going to grab it before it hit the table.
too bad, they have potential.
