I know this is a HUGE chain but the store on Hwy 119 / Cahaba Valley Rd in Pelham is always the best, especially in the morning.

I always seem to get hot fries at this branch and what is better than HOT fries from Mcd????
The staff in the mornings is so very friendly and nice. It is great to share a morning smile with this group.

My daughter found a cool prom dress there for $90.00 and it was a Lilli Ruben.....
The store is always neat and clean. The ladies that work there are not always the friendliest people in the world but the store is worth checking out.

They put so much cheese on their pizza and subs that if you don't eat them HOT, the cheese forms a barrier to the meat. LOL
The food is real good though.

I pass two grocery stores to shop at Publix. This store in Pelham is SO clean and well stocked. I will admit that the grocerys at Publix are just a few cents higher than other local chains but the food is always fresh and I prefer to shop here.
I come here at least once per week for lunch to get a sub sandwich. You gotta stop by the deli and get a sub or "hoagie" cuz they are outta this world. They put Subway to shame and once you eat a sub from Publix, you will never want another Subway. The subs are on fresh baked hard rolls with very fresh lunchmeat and toppings....YUM..
They also have Mardi Gras wings in their hot deli that are awesome too.
The buy one get one frees are always real good too.

I havent eaten here in a few years but you walk up to the window and order a roast beef sandwich and you get a bun with a huge pile of fresh cut roast beef on the bun....there is like a pound of this stuff on your bun and it is WAY TOO good !!!!! You gotta finish it up with some fries from the place next door I think called Thrashers fries. This is all at the beginning of the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD.

I received a gift certificate from a friend for $25.00 from Honeybaked Ham. I took my certificate to the local HH store and could hardly find a piece of ham or turkey for the money. I ended up buying a small turkey breast and STILL had to ADD money to the certificate.
I have 4 kids so I watch my serving sizes and cost per lb for meat and I can tell you that HH meats are good but I could have bought a whole turkey for about $10.00 less and cooked it myself or an entire ham and made it just as well.
I guess it is located in Vestavia, AL where all the well off folks live so.....maybe they don't mind spending that kind of money for some ham or turkey.
It was rather a rip-off for the money.

Their food is terrific and super good. I have eaten there probably 15 times since they opened recently and I can say that my chicken fingers (all I ever eat out..LOL)
and they have ALWAYS been super hot fresh cooked and never cooked and put under heat lamps.
The burgers are always good too (word from my friends and family), I do also stop by and get ice cream about once per week.
I had written many letters in the past to Dairy Queen for them to give us back our DQ. The DQ was located in Pelham on Hwy 119 a few years back but they closed. We are SOOOO happy to have our DQ back home.

The food has always been the bright spot of this center. Friendly service and good parking.
The colors in the bowling alley need to be brightened up to make it brighter inside rather than the dark muted colors.
