I am speaking from my experience and have talked to others in town and found that those that I talk to have similar experiences with this post...
WHY MUST IT BE SO DIFFICULT TO MAIL SOMTHING????
I am speaking from my experience and have talked to others in town and found that those that I talk to have similar experiences with this post office.
I sell stuff on Ebay and have done so since 1997 so I mail alot of stuff (average 50 -100 packages per month)
I mailed a little priority box last week and apparantly one of the two postage stamps that were put on the box by a different post office came off during transit. The package was marked with a rubber stamp AND a post-it note with the same stamp that said "Returned for more postage" and "take this package to the post office and just add more postage"
The package cost $4.80 total shipping, there was a $4.00 stamp on the box and apparantly the one for .80 fell off during transit because it was a sticker type stamp. I should have only paid .80 for additional postage and the lady made me pay $4.80 all over again.
We got into a small arguement over this.....
Found out from another post office that this lady was totally wrong. There are only 3 people that ever work at the window at this place and they are the Gustapo's of mail. I usually go out of my way about 7 miles past this post office to a different location that works by the USPS rules.
I order the free mail supplies that you can order from www.usps.com that us Ebayers use to ship with and my home delivery person WILL NOT and refuses to deliver them to me because she would have to get out of her truck to leave the supplies.
Also our home carrier has broken the mailboxes of everyone in our subdivision....she breaks off the two metal clamp things that hold the mailbox closed..
I have called the post office and the main USPS headquarters to complain about this 7 times and nothing is done....
HOW HARD IS IT TO GET SOME MAIL AND TO SEND SOME???
If you have to mail something....do not go to Pelham Post office !!!!

I was bored at lunch on Friday and didn't feel like eating lunch so....I drove and went to the Old Time Pottery. I had never been in this store before.

I FELL IN LOVE !!!! This is an awesome place with a little of everything for your home at super good prices.
You can buy drinking glasses for like .25 each, bed sheets for like 9.99 and they are so very reasonable on everything. I just walked the whole store and could have spent hours there and lots of money. Unfortunately I couldn' buy anything because I didn't even have .50 on me and I don't have any credit cards. Oh well....I took an application for employment for an evening job as I left. LOL

This food was super good. We ordered a full pan of ribs and cut chicken bbq and the Mac and cheese was to die for. I haven't had mac and cheese that good every. They use so much cheese that I think I am going to be stopped up for a week. LOL
They have these chocolate chip cookies and then they dip half of it into milk chocolate...YUM !!
The sauce is very tasty but the cole slaw is the vinegar type which I do not like but I heard everyone say that it too was good.
Full Moon BBQ is highly recommended by me !!!!

I went to Target today and have been patronizing small business in my area lately rather than go to Walmart.
I was very pleased with the Target today. The store was clean and had lots of good sales. I do not like their return policy though. The return policy is a bit too strict. I purchased a formal handbag for my daughter and an hour later when I showed it to her, she had already bought one so I tried to return and they saiid they could only give me store credit. The target is not really convenient to me so I opted to keep the purse for a little bit and maybe sell it on Ebay.
The bathrooms were neat, the grocery stuff was nice.
I was pleased.

I just went into a local Amsouth bank about an hour ago and was treated like a complete criminal.

I just went into a local Amsouth bank about an hour ago and was treated like a complete criminal.
My friend and I sell stuff on Ebay and I sold a rather large item that went for a sizeable amount of money (3000.00) well, my friend and I split the money. We use Paypal as a form of collection of payment from the customer through Ebay. If I had transferred the $1500.00 to my friend's Paypal account, it would have charged almost $100.00 in usage fees just for using Paypal OR for $1.50, I could have a check cut for the amount that I needed to pay my friend.
I opted for the check to be cut.
I gave the check to my friend to just deposit into their bank account (I endorsed the back)
Amsouth would not deposit without me being there. I went with my friend at lunch and the lady that waited on us stared at me and my id many times and then conferred in whispers to every one of the tellers in the bank about the check. I let her know that my children all (4 kids) have accounts at Amsouth and that my name is on them as well. They said that I needed to have a checking account and that it didn't count because the kids needed checking accounts.
THEN...after her treating me like I was passing a worthless check and feeling like a criminal....she asked me if I would be interested in opening an account with Amsouth !!!! Like I would even consider it at that point.
Another lady was totally rude to my friends child who is 5 and asked what was in all of those drawers (in the vault) she told us that he was nosy and that it was none of his business.
OK....like a 5 year old should not be nosey?? How do you think children learn?? they ask questions !!!!!
I felt that all 6 of these employees on duty an hour ago at this bank were totally out of line and made me feel worthless and much like a criminal.
NOT recommended by me !!!
I wish that I didnt have to even click on a star they were that bad. Please actually consider this rating from me a MINUS 5 STARS !!!!

We went into Victorias Secret and I asked if they had any plus size items (size 18-20) and the little snobby girl did the "once over" on me and said "Ma'am, you may want to go down the hall to Lane Bryants"
That little dark haired girl almost went home that night with a black eye. I guess she thinks that she is going to look like that little petite thing all her life.....
I havent been plus size all my life but this is my life now...
later that day, My best friend and I discussed the self-control that we had that day and then my friend who was out of work at that time, opened a plus size clothing shop because of that little snob at VS.

We each got a ticket with a number on it..then we walked over to a butcher case with choice cut steaks. I chose a beautiful filet mignon and my husband chose a thick cut extra large strip steak.
These particular steaks arrived at our table cooked to perfection about 20 minutes later.
OMG !!!!
FANTASTIC....THE STEAK MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH!
OK....great....now I want a Filet Mignon...UGH...

I moved to Birmingham, AL 18 years ago and since then have had 4 children and a hysterectomy and all services were provided by Dr. Guy Blaudeau. Dr. Blaudeau is a top rate doctor and surgeon in Alabama. I would have no other doctor to replace Dr. B.
I have had nothing but nice things to say about this doc. Dr. B is a perfectionist and will not operate or do his exams until everything is just perfect....That makes me feel good too that my doctor is not just doing things carelessly.
I recommend Dr. Guy Blaudeau to anyone and everyone. I had a hysterectomy two years ago and had a laproscopic surgery...I have 4 little incisions that didn't even have a stitch or staple, they were covered by bandaids. I was only off work for one week and my life was back to normal.
I WOULD GIVE DR. B 10 STARS IF THEY WERE AVAILABLE ON THIS WEBSITE !!!!

My brother in law shops no where else but this store.

This is a cheese soup with potatoes and bacon bits. Oh, I can just eat a bowl of soup and some rolls and I am set. YUM
