I really did not like the Doctors I saw at Pulmonary Consultants. I thought I was stuck with seeing these Doctors though, because I did not know of anyone better. Then my friend told me I should switch to Dr. Steven Farber. So I did. I have stayed much healthier since switching to Dr. Farber. Since we have a choice as patients, I would suggest people look around if they are not comfortable with their Doctor, sometimes a friend can really give you good insight when searching for a specialist.

Dr. Del Giorno is a great cardiologist. He makes me feel at ease. And he is gorgeous. I hope he takes into account that female patient's hearts probably race just from looking at him. I have spoken to other cardiologists, but they have not had a good bedside manner. Dr. Del Giorno does have a good bedside manner. He takes time to put me at ease when I am worried about my heart and my health. Definitely a good Doctor. The staff at his office were very nice too.

Dr. Harry C Watters did my hysterectomy. He is a wonderful Doctor. Very caring. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns. Even though I was seeing other Doctors after my hysterectomy, Dr. Watters is actually the Doctor that ordered the tests that showed I was having pancreatic problems & needed my gall bladder taken out. I had suffered for a long time, but was told it was just radiating pain from the hysterectomy, but Dr. Watters did not think it was from the hysterectomy and he was right. He saved me from enduring weeks of waiting in pain while my other Doctors decided what to do. I would recommend him to anyone & I have.

Dr. Ercius did surgery on my neck. He did a good job. He is kind of short with patients. He tells you everything that can go wrong & gives you the percentage of chance that the surgery will be successful. But does warn the patient of the complications to be expected with surgery & warns you not to elect to have surgery unless you are willing to wake up and find out that it was not as successful as you had hoped. I would say he does not give you false hope, like some doctors and does not push you into surgery like other doctors have done.

When I had to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against a local hospital I wen to Steve Patience and was glad that I did. He and his assistant handled everything including an erroneous bill that ended up on my credit report. I hardly had to do anything and they got me a very good settlement. They even lowered their fee in the end so that I would get an even amount back after my medical bills were paid. Everyone in that office was great to me and treated me very nicely. After all of his work, Steve even donated money to the non-profit foundation of which I am a board member. I was really impressed by this firm and their integrity. I would definitely use them again if I had to! Hopefully I won't need them! :-)

Chuck is a very nice man and makes you feel at ease in his office. He talks to you like a friend instead of making you feel uncomfortable. He was very helpful to me when I needed his advice and I even called him on a few occasions after my business with him was done and he answered all of my questions. It is a very laid back office and the office staff is very friendly and nice. They are all very helpful. I really enjoyed doing business with them.

He teaches low impact personal training to make losing weight or toning easy on your body. Each person receives individualized instruction in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Gary is extremely nice and very easy to be around. He makes you feel totally comfortable and not at all self conscious.

My boys see Dr Shoptaugh at this office and we love her. She talks to the children instead of just to the parents to make sure that she is getting the most comprehensive information to treat your child. She is a very kind lady who really is very sweet and good to my children. They are not afraid when they are in her office. The staff there is very professional and her nurse is great. There is a special number to call when your kids are sick and/or hurt and you can talk to the nurse right away. If they need to they will fit you in that same day. I call them and as questions sometimes for basic things just to be sure and they are always happy to help me. I am grateful to have them on my side.

This organization has been operating in the valley for almost 10 years. Their mission is to assist victims of violent crimes. Their main focus is on removing impaired drivers from our city streets. They work very closely with fourteen different police agencies in the valley to assist in their efforts to remove impaired drivers. They speak to DUI offenders to try and keep them from becoming repeat offenders. They do educational speaking engagements for children and teenagers. They work with youth probation officers to help turn kids lives around who are going down the wrong path. They are a small, grass-roots, organization that is always in need of donations. Steve does the accounting for the non-profit organization that I run and I couldn't be happier with his work. He gets things done quick and efficiently. He always gives suggestions to help with our organization and warns us of things to look out for. He spends extra time explaining things to me and is really a very funny and nice man to work with. He also does the accounting for my ex-husbands personal business and has been a huge help to him in explaining how to take write offs and all of that.
