We have always received this newspaper as it is among the best Florida (and actually national) newspapers. They syndicate many editorials and opinion columns each day from papers such as the NYtimes and Washington post and always feature big stories in the bay area. On a side note, I've actually been in the paper quite a few times over the years.
As far as political slant, SPtimes is very democratic. In addition, they have been accused of being biased against Israel at times with their articles and headlines. You must read their paper with a clear and focused mind to judge their comments for yourself sometimes.
