While this store is definitely geared toward a younger crowd, I think they have really cute and trendy items for a great price. I don’t really want to pay big bucks on a trendy shirt that will be out of style in 2 months – but at the same time I like to wear the latest fashions. So, I shop at Forever 21 every once in a while. There I can find cute clothes at a great price (the majority of their shirts cost less than $20). They also have really cute accessories at great prices.
A word of caution – their sizes run extremely small, so this store is not catered to plus-sized ladies.

I really like Z Gallerie. I have always been able to find a great home decorating item there.
I am really pleased with the quality and price of their furniture. I recently fell in love with a dining room table at Crate and Barrell – but it was way out of my budget. I found an exact replica at Z Gallerie – for a quarter of the price (yes – that’s right – 75% less!!!!). I was ecstatic!
I think they have great art there, as well. Some of their paintings are pretty pricey, but their prints are very reasonable.

I love the pizzas at California Pizza Kitchen. They have some of the most delicious and unique pizza’s I’ve ever tasted. The pizzas aren’t very large; I would recommend getting one pizza per person. My favorite pizzas are the tostada or the roasted garlic chicken. If you aren’t in the mood for a pizza, there are also a variety of yummy salads, pastas, and sandwiches on their menu. There is sure to be something on the menu for everyone!
Also, their tiramisu is some of the best that I’ve tried.

In my opinion, Del Taco is so much better than Taco Bell. I find that their ingredients are much fresher – your meal doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They have a great variety to their menu as well – they have tacos, salads, quesadillas, and even some burgers.
The one thing I do find kind of strange about Del Taco is that they serve French fries with all their value meals – even the ones with tacos.
Next time you are on the run and need a really quick meal – I recommend checking out Del Taco.

They have different happy hour specials every day of the week. Their food is really tasty; I’ve always been pleased with whatever I’ve ordered. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly.
They also have lots of pool tables and darts to keep you entertained.

Papa John’s has some of the best delivery pizza in Colorado. I think the ingredients are always really tasty. They also have some really great non-traditional pizza combinations, like the chicken garlic alfredo. I think their prices are pretty standard for delivery pizzas, but I think the quality of the pizzas is so much better.
My favorite part about Papa John’s Pizza is their crust. It is so yummy! They even give you this great garlic butter dipping sauce to dip your crust in.

I love Qboda! I think it’s much better than Chipotle. I think they have a great variety of quick Tex-Mex food –they have burritos, salads, soups, quesadillas and so much more. You have so many different options that it will take a long time for you to get bored of their menu.
I love their selection of sauces and salsas. The 3-cheese queso is great to dip chips in, and I love the kick that the roasted corn salsa gives any meal. For those that love really spicy causes, they have a great habanero salsa – be prepared to drink lots of water if you try this one!!
Be sure to sign up for their frequent buyer card where purchases earn you a free burrito.

I have been to Pan Asia Bistro a few times for work functions. The atmosphere is really nice – it seems more elegant than a lot of other local Asian places. I have always been really pleased with the quality of the food. It tastes delicious, and the presentation on the dishes is great. I always find the staff to be really friendly, but sometimes service is a little slow and it takes a while to get your food especially if you are with a larger group.
The do have really good lunch and happy hour specials.
They have a patio where you can sit if the weather is warm – but the patio faces the highway so it can be kind of loud.

I love my local Safeway. I think that over the years they have gotten better and better and offer more great items.
They have a great deli that offers so many yummy choices. At this particular Safeway, you can order sandwiches and paninis. They have a large selection of ready-to-eat Chinese food in their deli. They also have a great olive and antipasto bar, as well as delicious soups. In the bakery you will find some great desserts – the fruit tart is my favorite!
I also am really impressed with their floral department. The cost and quality of their flowers and vases is excellent!

I’ve been going to the Denver Zoo for over 15 years, and they are always coming up with new exhibits and remodeling something. So, even if you have been in the past, you should go and check it out to see what’s new!
The animals aren’t as active in the heat of the summer, and the smell is at its worst then. I think the best time to go is in the spring or fall. Also try going earlier in the morning, rather than in the afternoon, so you catch most of the animals when they are awake.
