I'm not usually one to get my hair cut at the mall, but took a chance here. My stylist, I think her name was Kim, was nothing short of amazing. I was about 7 months pregnant and had some major roots coming out. SHe was able to cut it and show me how to style it so it wouldn't look so obnoxiuos. She also showed me several alternative ways to style my hair, which I really appreciated.

We ran on hard times, and money was limited. This seemed like an ok place to buy a car, especially since there was no credit check, not a big down payment, and you supposedly only pay the blue book...
We ran on hard times, and money was limited. This seemed like an ok place to buy a car, especially since there was no credit check, not a big down payment, and you supposedly only pay the blue book value of the car. We test drove several cars, most of them drove extremely bad. We settled on an unattractive mini van that seemed to run ok. Within a week, the transmission fell out. We had that replaced, and then the radiotor blew. A few weeks later, there was an obtrusive oil leak, and then, a few weeks ago, the transmission fell out AGAIN! Yes, even after they replaced it. Please, save yourself a lot of money and some headaches by skipping this place. The main guy that you have to deal with is a chain smoking hick like cowboy and he is IMPSOSSIBLE to deal with.

I came here out of chance. I was needing to buy some Vegetarian Gravy for a guest that was coming over for Thanksgiving & Central Market was just way too crowded. So, I ventured in here. I had no problem parking, which I was immediately grateful for! People were outside on the patio enjoying a rather divine looking lunch. Inside, the staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. After finding the gravy (which was super cheap at only .99, and I know I would have paid a few dollars at Central Market), I looked at their produce selection, and it was just awesome! I will definitely shop here more often!

Daya has a pretty and relaxing feel to it the minute you walk in. The atmosphere is immediately relaxing and calming. The staff - from the receptionist to the massage therapists- are top notch. You are treated like royalty. The massage is heavenly and DEFINITELY money well spent. My wife got me a gift certificate here, and I lost it. I called Daya & explained, and they were able to look up the information in their system. It didn't even matter that I had lost the original gift certificate. They were so great and accomodating!

We like that they do some free Sundays, that's very cool! Kids LOVE this place. It has the coolest and NEATEST things for them, and it is very interactive. THe kids can touch and play and look and feel, which is important to them. There is even a little music room in the back done to the theme of the Austin City Limits that the kids can go and be rock stars! There is a little kitchen that the kids like to play and can pretend to serve their parents meals. In the summer, they offer a wide variety of great summer camps and are pretty affordable. They are located downtown, but do have a small designated parking lot.

THis is a good place to take the kids if you don' t have the time to drive to the San Antonio zoo. It is a tiny bit pricey, and quite honestly, there just aren't many animals here. You can see chickens, a tiger, and a few other animals, but the pickings are pretty slim. The kids don't mind, though. It is not all that stroller friendly either, not much pavenment to manuever a stroller on. I remember wishing I had a 4 wheel drive stroller. We did attend a birthday party here once, and the kids all absolutely LOVED it. There is also a neat little train ride here.

THis is a fantastic zoo! We love coming here. They have lots of animals to view, and the animals all look as though they are taken care of really well. The admission fee is super cheap AND you can even print off discount coupons off their website! You can print one for each member of your family, which is a super deal! They are open year round, which is also great! The zoo itself is clean as are the grounds. We like the petting zoo & feeding the fish! My kids love to make the little wax zoo creatures here, too! You can also bring your own snacks and drinks, which is an extra bonus! They have several eateries & snack places throughout the zoo, they aren't just located in one spot.

Both my 8 year old daughter and I came here to get our teeth cleaned. I suppose the one thing I did not like is that you have to have an "exam" before your cleaning, and that means you have to have seperate appointments, so I had to have an "exam" (so did my daughter) and then come back a week later for the cleaning. The cleaning itself was quick and easy. The hygenists, dentists, and office staff are all quite pleasant. I can't remember the name of the dentist, but the one my daughter saw was very good with kids.

We had our wedding reception here. The owner, Kathleen, is very nice and accomodating. She is a bit eclectic, but she is truly wonderful. She went above and beyond to give us a beautiful reception. Most of the reception was outside. The grounds are beautiful, so it made for very little decorating expenses. We put tents up in the driveway that served as a shield from the sun, where the food was served, and later where the dancing was. At night, the trees are lit up in beautiful lights. The cake cutting was inside, which was perfect. This is also a bed and breakfast, and might I add that this house is simply breathtaking. It is decorated beautifully. We stayed in the Blues Traverler suite on our wedding night and everything about it was perfect. The next morning, we had breakfast there and it was just wonderful. It was truly like a dream come true. Russell Crowe likes to stay here when he is in town!

My daughter visited several pediatric eye doctors at a very early age because of a growth on the retina. None could come to a definitive diagnosis or treatment. We were referred to Dr. Hyde, and he immediately knew how to treat her. We got a diagnosis and found out how to treat her right away. He is a very kind doctor, very good with kids. As a matter of fact, my daughter is now 8 and has a crush on him! He will take excellent care of his young patients!
