this is THE place for looking at myriads of gowns and being treated really well in the process. their selection is enormous and the staff is really very knowledgeable about what will and what won't look good on a given person. it might be hard to shop there if you're not very assertive - they tend to be quite forceful in their recommendations, so bring a friend who can advocate for you if you can't do it for yourself.
