The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) is a huge interactive science museum that is fun for all ages. The building is composed of several themed rooms that aim to awe and teach at the same time. Themes including Atlantis and underwater stuff as well as other science like things. Although it is kind of expensive to get in, it is well worth it. I will say it is not as good as the old COSI... probably because they got rid of some of the really cool exhibits like the coal mine etc.
But this place is still pretty neat. You should check it out.

The Ohio Historical Society Museum is a really fun place for kids and families. They have room after room of interesting exhibits. They even have realy Caboose outside that you can go in. The coolest place there is the Ohio Village which is a full-scale replica of an old town Ohio village. Everything is real. You can even catch the staff playing a game of cricket or baseball in the town square and they are dressed in period clothing. All the other employees in the village are dressed in period clothing also. It's really fun.

Stanton's, located right downtown is a fantastic shop for all your sheet music needs. I really enjoy playing the piano recreationally and I often will go to Stanton's to get sheet music for the newest songs. I really like playing top-40 songs on the piano and Stanton's is the only place I know to get that in the city. They also carry music for choirs, orchestras, quartets - really any ensemble you can think of. The selection is grand and so are the prices - another reason I shop there.

North Campus Video is a really cool video and game rental/sale shop. They have all the mainstream movies you could think of. They are also the only video store in the city that I know of that has hundreds of classic, cult and alternative films. Looking for the entire John Waters collection? Well look no further because North Campus will have it. They also have a whole section devoted to documentaries and foreign films. You will literally spend hours looking for movies. They also have a back room with a huge adult section, if your into that. Great prices - only a dollar a night for most movies. You can buy them also if you like.

St. Stephens Episcopal Church is located right on OSU's main campus. They offer two Sunday services as well as a couple throughout the week. There are also youth group meetings for OSU students. So there are a lot of programs offered. I really enjoy their christmas eve service. The music is beautiful and the choir is one of the best that I have ever heard in my life - quite a treasure really. Actually, my favorite part of that church is the choir - just heavenly.

Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is an entire library system with over 25 branches city wide. My favorite is the main branch downtown. It is the original CML and has been added on to the structure. It is a beautiful building that is three stories full of books. It is absolutely incredible the stuff you can find in there. They also have really nice, quiet cozy study tables. I like the ones on the third floor because they overlook the downtown columbus. Its just really peaceful and nice. A great place to spend a saturday afternoon.

Used Kids has been on the campus area for probably 20 years at least - as long as I can remember anyway. They have a huge selection of used music that caters to any genre you like. The prices are really decent too and the quality of the used CD's are always nearly perfect. They will buy your used CD's for a decent price, but they only buy really fantastic conditions - so dont expect them to buy your old scratched up CD's. All in all, a good deal for music.

For only about 17.00 bucks, they will vacuum it thoroughly, run it through a soft-cloth washer, hand dry you car and wipe down the interior. The car comes out smelling fresh and looking better! They also offer interior and exterior steam cleaning for about $80.00. That is a really reasonable price. I just really love the service and the inside of the building has windows to the car wash machine so you can actually watch your car get washed - its really neat!

Further, they have all the parts you could ever need. From the mother board to the mouse and everything in between, this place is the only place you need to go. I often get my networking hardware there becuase not only is it a good price, they staff is really good at helping you design a system that will suit your needs.

You can even buy roles of it and cut it to suit. Beautiful stationary also including seasonal and monogramed. The shop also offers custom oders for announcements or anything you like. If you find yourself in Grandview, you should really check it out. They have great gift sets also.
