I've been a regular at the Nordstrom Spa for sometime and without a doubt the spa consistently offers quality treatments and services to clients time and time again. Pedicures last twice as long as other smaller places I've been (although you pay twice as much--$50 for the essential pedi), facials are thorough and relaxing no matter who you work with (I like the marine treatment--$90). Also the facility is very relaxing-private, dark treatments rooms with a place to relax (come to grips with reality) afterwards. Plus the staff is always professional and curteous making the Nordstrom Spa experience a must.

I've been going to Seven Salon since I moved to Seattle and have received a great haircut each time. I'm about as low-maintenance as you get when it comes to hair (no coloring, and pretty basic styling) but Seven is worth it for the experience alone. Modelesque stylists strut their stuff around the swanky modern space while Euro-techno grooves play in the background. If you can stomach the price--$90 (including tip) for a basic cut, this place is a good bet for sheer entertainment value if nothing else.

I've now dined at Via Tribunali 3 times and while the atmosphere and simple but good food warrant 4 stars, the service (specifically the attitude) each visit takes it down a notch to 3 stars. No reservations are taken here so you're in for a wait of about an hour almost no matter what. If you can squeeze into the bar area, order the salumi plate to tide you over. Once seated, pizzas (the lasagna and quattro staggioni pizzas were our favorites) take only about 5 minutes so order as you're ready to eat as there's no waiting for food.
If you can get past the pretentiousness at the front of the house, it's worth a visit from time to time.

The attic hits the spot. Darts, big selection of beers, and a menu that delivers. I particularly like the staff that's not willing to go out of their way to give you extra service, but they get the job done. Direct and to the point and once you're a regular, they'll remember your favorite brew. Lots of post-college and neighborhood madison parkers frequent this joint--I highly recommend it.

22 doors on Capital Hill is a great option for a casual night out where the atmosphere is cozy and the food is decent. A fire place and list of creative drinks help to quickly warm you up from the Seattle November rain.
Our favorites were the pork loin, pumpkin ravioli and burger. The Chocolate dessert and coffee drinks did not dissapoint either.
Prices are very reasonable ($11-$20 entrees).
A great new addition to 15th street.

My friends and I went to crush this weekend and despite Foie Gras protesters outside (which actually encouraged us to order more F.G.) it was the perfect dining experience. Great ambiance. Amazing selection. The fish (sturgeon) was outstanding as was the cheese selection and the Foie Gras. I can't wait to go back again and again.
