My husband really enjoys the catfish po' boy and hush puppies. We have only had one less then wonderful experience at gumbeaux, and that time the food was simply too hot to eat.

We arrived at Johnny's at 12:10, drinks did not arrive until around 12:30 and salads finally arrived about 15 minutes later. What was supposed to be quick lunch turned into a 1 1/2 hour nightmare....
We arrived at Johnny's at 12:10, drinks did not arrive until around 12:30 and salads finally arrived about 15 minutes later. What was supposed to be quick lunch turned into a 1 1/2 hour nightmare. The food was excellent though. As we were paying we did voice our concerns to the manager who unapologetically said she she was short staffed.
