We have had excellent experiences with Midas in Factoria. They work on most types of cars with most types of problems and have always done well.
In particular, there is nowhere better for electrical issues. We have brought a couple problematic cars to them and they were able to diagnose and repair issues that befuddled everyone else.

In 2004, We hired Wizard Electric to almost completely re-wire our house (from old knob & tube to modern romex) and to add a bunch of outlets.
They did great work for us then, but I think the guys who worked on our house have since left. Lance was the boss (came a few times to assess the job and then to oversee) and David did most of the work.
When I needed more electrical work, I looked into it. Lance started a company called Seattle Electric. I have not figured out where David or John went (and I could be wrong about them both leaving). Since these guys left, Wizard started getting bad reviews. Call Seattle Electric instead to be sure you will have a good experience. That is what I did - and it worked.
Seattle Electric's phone number is 206-417-4700

We hired the Javatown Swing Orchestra for our wedding reception and they were fantastic. Not only was Jake Bergevin great to work with, but the band was fantastic. They were even able to seamlessly handle some on-the-spot changes with subtle cues.
Our guests loved them so much that we kept asking the band to play for yet another hour until they were finally so exhausted they just had to stop - but the dance floor was still packed after a record number of hours.
We hired them to play dinner music for awhile and then swing into dance music. They did both expertly.

So far, I have loved the instructors. They have plenty of classes and great payment options.
Their space is very nice and it seems to be a great group of people who attend the classes.
It is also very convenient. It is located above three great restaurants, so you can meet your friends for dinner or lunch right after your class and the buses come straight there from downtown.

Forget the gym!!!
Team in Training will whip you into shape, and you will have a lot more fun doing it!
Start at any level, pick an event to train for over the next 4 - 7 months, and join the team. The coaches will outline everything for you. All you have to do is follow the schedule and raise funds. The funds mostly go to cancer research (some goes to pay for your event and travel, the program, and help cancer patients defray costs).
You can choose to run or walk a marathon or half marathon, undertake a triathalon, or bike a century ride. You can be very experienced or not even a teeny bit experienced (beginner swimming/biking lessons can be arranged).
I went from zero to marathon in about four months and I still can't believe I just ran a full marathon. And along the way, I had a great time, met fantastic people, and raised money for a great cause.
I loved the tream approach, the idea of exercising outdoors, mostly whenever and wherever I wanted, and the fantastic coaching.
