I love Gelati Celesti's ice cream! I would have to describe it as sinfully sensationally tasty. Their ice cream is homemade and they offer a great variety of flavors. Each season and holiday they have speciality flavors to go along with the season or holiday. The quality of their ice cream is superb! I love it! Be prepared to wait in line for your ice cream -- there is always a wait because they are so popular. And they should be (popular) -- they serve the best ice cream in Richmond. Prices are reasonable -- especially since the Entertainment Book always offers coupons.

Southern Foods is a food supplier to local business and homes. The selection and quality of meat that they offer is superb! We have always been pleased with the meat we have purchased from Southern Foods. We tend to only purchase meat from them even though they offer canned foods, frozen vegetables, and desserts. The non-meat items are things you can buy in any local grocery store for a fraction of the price. I am not saying their meat prices are cheaper than the grocery store -- for they are not. It is just the quality of meat is superbly better than most of the local grocery stores. We don't mind paying a bit more for our meat when the quality is wonderful. Service is excellent! You can either pick up your order or they will deliver it (and put it in your freezer). If you choose to have your food delivered, turn around time from placing order to delivery is quick. I recommend this company if you don't mind paying a bit more for your meats.

Although I truly love Cook Out's hamburgers and shakes, this location is one I try not to frequent. The sanitary grade seems to just hover above a B grade. The staff is civil, but not really friendly. My husband swears the chocolate malts at this location are not as good as the Cook Out on Battleground Avenue. When I don't have another choice, I will stop here for a burger. However, I prefer to run to the location on Battleground Avenue for my Cook Out fix.

If you love secondhand stores, you will love Deseret Industries. It is very well organized -- sections for ladies, men, children clothing as well as books, shoes and housewares and furniture. Most thrift stores I have shopped tend to be not so clean. I am always amazed at how clean this store is. I feel like I could eat off the floor! That is how clean it is! Prices are amazing -- books for a quarter; pants for $3.00; pants for $4.00. The only thing I don't like about the store is they tend to organize the ladies clothing by color -- so all of the brown pants are on one rack and all of the the blue pants on another. I wish they organized by size instead -- I think that would make shopping easier. This won't keep me from shopping there. Just a comment to share.

We have bought two new mattresses in the past year. Both purchased at the Mattress Firm. The store is well organized, making it easy to view styles and selection offered. They also allow you to test each bed by laying on it. My 4 year old thought this was fun. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their stock. Prices were par for new mattresses. They offer delivery -- but we opted to throw it on our roof and take it home that day. They helped tie down the mattress and box spring. All in all, a pleasant shopping experience.

Ham's is a local sports bar chain that serves a good variety of sandwiches and other simple dishes. They are known for their chips -- which are their speciality. The location at Lakeside is great -- they have outside patio seating so you can eat your meal while having a great view of the lake. Food is tasty and reasonably priced. My 4 year old loves going there -- but he likes sitting inside so he can watch the train go around the ceiling. Service has always been great: friendly and courteous staff and a talented quick kitchen staff.

Although Two Tony's offers a variety of Italian cuisine, we mainly order their pizza. There always seems to be tons of confusion and chaos behind the counter and in the kitchen. It doesn't seem to effect service or orders -- just makes for a very loud impression when you enter the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. Food quality and taste is fair. I have definietly had better pizza. However, my in-laws swear Two Tony's has the best pizza in town. So, I guess it just depends on who you ask.

The Christian Book Warehouse is one of my favorite stores to visit when I go to Pigeon Forge. They offer 2 floors of books, books, and more books to browse. They offer a wide variety of books in every genre. Their Christian book selection is amazing. My son and I love to browse the children's corner -- it's the biggest corner you'll ever see. There selection of teacher resource books is also impressive. Prices are super! Definitely cheaper than your big name book store chain. My favorite section of the store is their clearance FLOOR! Yes, a WHOLE entire floor dedicated to clearance priced books. Hours are super -- usually open til 10pm each night. Staff is super friendly. Not much floor help, but if you approach the staff at the counter, they are more than willing to point you in the right direction. If you are a book lover, definitely worth visiting this store.

My family loves the food at Elizabeth's Pizza. From their pizza to their chicken parm subs (a family favorite!) to their pasta dishes, I have yet to eat anything that was not delicious! Once a month we have pizza & movie night and would not think of going anywhere else for our pizza. Whether we dine in or take out, the food quality and taste is always superb. Service is wonderful. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is very clean. Parking isn't the greatest during the lunch or early dinner hour. After 7pm, parking is better as you can park in the dry cleaners behind Elizabeth's.

This location of Elizabeth's Pizza is closest to my house; however, we have stopped giving them our business. Each time we have been, the staff has been unfriendly. It felt as if we were interupting their time to take our order and make our food. My whole family enjoys the food at Elizabeth's -- but with multiple locations in town, we can choose to frequent the locations who value us as a customer.
