The aptly named Granary is a quilting shop located in Sunnyvale. They offer quilting classes and high quality cottons. The nice thing about this shop is the organization and they also have pre-cut fat quarters if you don't have time to wait for a cutting. The cotton is much higher quality than what you can buy at large chain stores, so they don't lose their integrity after one wash. They offer a quilting class on night a week, but it's not so much a class as it is just time to sew with a couple helpers wandering around should you need assistance. The helpers were insightful and informed. The shop also sets up some ironing stations to aid with the quilting. Overall, the pricing is a bit high, but you are paying for high quality fabric. The staff is fantastic and visually the store is a treat to visit.
