Absolutely the worse customer service and marginal food [at best] suggests avoiding Incline at all cost!

BTW, the corned beef sandwitch was excellent too.

Why does this ATM location always feel not very safe? Is it the poor lighting? Maybe the renters from across the street who park their cars in the Banks' parking lot?

We stayed two nights at this charming B&B. The property is centrally located in Palisade, close to downtown, bike paths and wineries. The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and a good value. We did not have the opportunity to taste the breakfasts, but they sure did smell good!
The B&B provides loaner mountain bikes.

A group of five friends descended upon Juanita's after encountering a >1hour wait at Rio Grande. Both restaurants were busy due to CU's home game against Nebraska (circa 2005.. where's the Judy's Book entry for CU Football?). The Juanita's hostess quoted a 20 minute wait for seating in the main dinning area. We asked to wait in the bar area. A booth had recently been vacated, but not cleaned. The five of us could fit in the booth (with an extra end chair), the waitress and a buser for the area quickly cleaned the booth. Better yet, the waitress asked a table of two to move to the booth to allow the five of us to sit at two 4-tops. We ended up at a pair of connected tables near the bar within minutes of arriving at the restaurant (vs. >1 hour at Rio or ~20 minutes in Juanita's dinning room).
Once seated, the rest of the dinner was served fantastically. Our waitress juggled multiple requests, partying Nebraska fans and an overwhelming bar environment. She kept the chips, salsa and margaritas flowing while the kitchen attempted to keep up with the crowd.
Our collective dinners were fine. One chicken chimi seemed to be missing the chicken, but the quality of the other four dinners were well above what would be expected at the Rio. Once again, ordering from the daily special menu was very rewarding.
We will continue to frequent Juanita's and the Rio Grande, but whenever SUPERIOR service is provided, it should be recognized.

I have frequented Pasta Jay's in Boulder and Moab as long as the two restaurants have existed. My experience with Pasta Jays in the early '90's became so marginal that it took me two years before I would try Jay's again, once I returned to Boulder. Fortunately for Jay's, I tried the Moab restaurant a couple of years ago and was pleasantly surprised. The marginal food, service and generally poor value were long gone.
The great experience in Moab eventually led me to agree to eat at the Boulder restaurant again (after a 14 year probation). We had a great experience. The food was fantastic, the wine (by the glass) offerings had improved and the value felt fine. The service was better, but only acceptable.

The gin martinis are best we have found yet in Boulder. Nicely chilled glasses with minimal "water" in the drink. The HH food, particularly the mussels was fantastic.
The location is unfortunate if you want to sit outside. The noise generated by the continual RTD bus traffic ruins the experience.
Try Maurice's other two restaurants in Snowmass Village.

This honestly happened during one visit to the Boulder Cafe. My wife ordered an Arnold Palmer and was charged for both, an iced tea and a lemonade ($2 each, $4 total). We could not believe the response from the waiter "that's our policy". We left and have not returned.
IN ADDITION...my credit card statement arrived several weeks later. The charge from Boulder Cafe on the statement was $5 more than I had entered in Quicken. Best I could tell, somebody (the waiter?) changed a "three" into an "eight". I no longer had the receipt to back up my claim. I did not push the issue with the restaurant given my lack of evidence and since we believe the Cafe does not offer a unique value proposition. In other words, there are plenty of other options on the Mall. We have not missed it for a moment.
