Artisan is a very nice salon with a relaxing atmosphere. The decor of the salon has a natural kind of feel, going along with the Aveda line of products the salon uses. Prices are moderate to expensive. Half of the staff is friendly, but the remainder can give off a snobby vibe. Overall, the skills of the staff outweigh negativity. Stylists are great with color and highlights.

The Arlington Cinema 'n' Drafthouse is a great alternative to a regular movie theater. Movies shown are usually 4-5 weeks old, but the flipside is that the theater serves dinner, beer and wine. The audience can also be louder than usual, but if you go in expecting that it isn't a big deal. I usually go for the less dramatic films. Overall, a great place to watch a movie.
