Cartoons and Toys is a tiny store located towards the back of The Village shopping area. It is located off of Gatlinburgs main strip, so you might be parked far away. There is no parking on the strip. The store is very small, but is packed with alot of cute toys and gifts. They have Beanie baby, Thomas toys, Boyds bears, Sanrio toys, and cartton character related items. They also carry some jewelry, like Italian charm bracelets. This tore is definitely not stroller friendly, since it is so small. also, they have an upstairs, which is only accessible by using the stairs.

Poopsie's is a really fun, unique store located on Galena's main tourist strip. They have all kinds of gifts and novelties for poeple of all ages. they have books, toys, and educational gifts for kids. They have a large area for pet related gifts, like funny books and home decor. They have bath and body stuff, like candles, soaps, and lotions. They have holiday decor. However, the most unique things they carry are one of a kind pieces by local artists. The store itself is quite large, but it is usually crowded. The people are very nice and helpful. The parking can be difficult, as there is only limited street parking on Galena's main strip.

The Castle Theater is an experience unlike any other that you can find in central Illinois. It is a beautifully redone historic theater in downtown Bloomington. The inside is gorgeous. They have couch, loveseats, and tables and chairs. You can eat dinner while watching your movie. They have pizza and burgers, but also traditional movie fare, such as popcorn and candy. They even have a bar, which serves beer, wine, and some mixed drinks. They have some artsy, independent films, but also some mainstream films and family oriented films at times. Their prices are fair, and are no more than a traditional theater price. They also offer discounted rates for matinees.

It is nice because you don't have to order most things, since they are already in stock. The store has recently been redone and is much nicer than it used to be. They carry educational toys and games. They have an area filled with Christian and Catholic related teaching items. They also carry things for boy scouts and girl scouts. They have uniforms and accessories. They have a really great sidewalk sale a few times a year, too. The only bad thing about the store is that I have found the staff to be snotty and not very helpful, on more than one occassion.

Teacher's Delight is a teachers store located near Orland Park Mall. It is a large store with alot of parking. They carry a large selection of things for teachers, such as bulletin board stuff and teacher books. However, they also carry Thomas toys, Sanrio toys, alot of building sets and educational toys. They have alarge selection of stickers as well. They have some good sales through out the year, especially their sidewalk sales.

Pages for All Ages is an awesome store! As their name suggests, they have books for people of all ages. They have alot of teachers books and offer a 25% discount to teachers. They have a very nice atomosphere, with lots of cozy places to read and a fireplace in the center. The staff is very helpful and can order things for you. Orders only take 2-3 days to arrive. The have authors for books signings and lots of themed programs. They also have a coffee shop and WIFI.

You can do this in person or by phone. The people are very helpful. They will then deliver your arrangement promptly. I have recieved, as well as sent ,many lovely gifts from this store over the years. Their prices are reasonable and their flowers are always fresh and beautiful.

I don't know all of your "adult entertainment needs", but I would think this store would just about cover them. They have books, movies, magazines, all kind of toys (and I do mean all kinds of toys), novelties, and gag gifts. They also have movies for rental. Be warned, this store is not for the conservative and is kind of seedy. However, the people that work there are actually really nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable. This store is worth the trip for the educational value, if nothing else.

If you are nervous about getting your hair done by a student, they also offer some spa services, like facials, massages, manicures and pedicures. The relaxing facial is a real bargain. It is 60 minutes and only cost $15! They have coupons and specials, too. Their hours vary and they close early some nights, so be sure to call before coming by.
