A friend of mine needed to put signs on his van, since he uses it to drive kids to school and wanted them to be able to tell it was a taxi. He came in there, told them what he needed and they completed his request quickly and efficiently. They also do banners, boat lettering, magnetic signs, truck lettering, windows, and, of course, custom work.

Ohh, man, what a great store. Mainly for the teens and those in their twenties, but I’m sure everyone can find something they like there. It’s got everything from band posters to jewelry to room decorations. Items range from fairly tame to adult, but all the adult things are nicely sheltered in the back, allowing for a wide range of safe browsing. If you’re looking for a gag gift for that special someone, this is the store for you.

Not too bad of a place. I was in an accident a while back, and basically wrecked the entire front end of my car. Every other body shop or repair shop I went to either gave me ridiculously high estimates, said it would take an obnoxiously long time to fix, or said that it would actually be impossible to fix. However, these guys did everything in just three days, and I didn’t have to wait until payday, either.

I adore this place, and it’s a real shame I don’t get to go there often. The sandwiches are delicious, with pick-your-own toppings and condiments. The atmosphere of the whole place is warm and friendly, just the kind you need after a walk in that cold Chicago fall or winter weather.

Great little theater located on Old McHenry road. Tickets are incredibly cheap — only two dollars every day and one dollar on Tuesdays. The movies being shown there are usually a month or two old, but I don’t think that presents a problem. After all, if you missed a blockbuster you really wanted to see when it first came out, or just didn’t feel like paying seven to nine dollars for it, you can always catch up on what you missed here.

I LOVE this school. Everything about it is absolutely amazing, from the variety of subjects to choose from, to the fairly small teacher:student ratio, especially small considering the number of students enrolled, which is nearing 5000 every year. You can take any class ranging from computer programming and studio art to sculpting, radio broadcasting, Latin, and many many more.

Not that great of a school. I spent seventh and either grade there, and the experience was none too pleasant, thanks to the horrendous teachers—although the students were not the nicest bunch either. The English department—or at least the part I had the displeasure of knowing—is awful, MS. Josephson, she of the eighth-grade social studies, harbors her own political opinion on everything, thus preventing us from actually learning anything, etc. Don’t send your kids there if you have a choice.

Only spent sixth grade in this hellhole, but that was enough to make me never want to go back again. Had three periods in a row with Mr. Bauernfeind, who always came across as a pedophile. Math teacher, Mrs. Light, has no idea about what she’s teaching; the only teacher I ever really liked was my science teacher, Mr. Volk. Too bad he retired three years ago. Not to mention that most of my friends who’ve gone there are now hanging with the “cool” bad crowd. Not that great of a school.

I spent my third through fifth grades in this school, and it has definitely left a good impression on me. In third grade, I barely knew any English, and my teacher, Mrs. Clark, was a major help in learning the language. However, my fifth grade teacher, Ms. Biondi, still remains an all-time favorite, at least in that school. She was strict, but fair and funny, and she could make any problem easy to solve with her sense of humor.
