It is a great day and very cheap for all the fun you get. Check out the Texas section for animals that are native to Texas. They have a lot of programs for kids including Boo at the Zoo! The staff at the zoo is great!

They have Looney Tunes Land for little kids and Batman and Shockwave for the bigs kids. They have games and many things you can play to win prizes. They have different lands like Texas and Paris that are themed. Check out Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park for fun durning the holidays!

The stockyard station is Texas to a T! You can have BBQ dinners or watch a cattle drive all in what use to be a cattle yard durning the hay day of Fort Worth. There are resturants and many shops where you can buy Texas related items or western wear. It is a great place to take visitors from out of town or for a fun day with the kids. You can even ride the train from Grapevine to Fort Worth - it comes right down into the middle of the Stockyards!

NRH2O is for little kids- just little kids. The slides are small and so is the park. But it is nice to take the kids to because it is local and is great on a hot day in Texas. It is very easy to get to and the prices are good for a day of entertainment with the little kids. I wouldn't recommend it for kids over 9 or 10 because they will get bored. They do have lifeguards and places for adults to sit- which is nice.

If you are looking for a place to skate or take hockey or skating lesson- check out the Dr Pepper Starcenter. It is a really nice ice arena that they take care of very much so. They give lesson for hockey and ice skating and also have free skate where you pay to skate for an hour. They rent you the skates if you don't have them. You can buy some in the pro shop or bring yours from home. The instructors are very nice and work with very young kids to adults.
