Probably one of the most exciting architectural structures in Los Angeles in the recent years, the Disney Concert Hall has brought glamour and style to Downtown LA like no other attraction has. In the sun, the structure gleams and looks like it's out of a magazine. The street that it is located on, Grand Ave, also has the MOCA, a contemporary arts museum, and also the Central Library. It is definitely worth it to check out these places all at once if you have the time!!

This is probably the store to go to for local students at UCLA and various artists living on the West side. It definitely carries lots of supplies, but if you're just looking for a regular digital camera it is better to go to a local Best Buy or Target. However, if you're looking for advice or expertise and looking to take photographs with SLRs, this is probably a better place for a wider selection.

I came here as a small kid so I don't remember much about the place as a result. However, I know that it is one of the original Spanish missions scattered across California and it is a place with a lot of history. The Mission looks a bit worn down but it has been preserved and walking through it makes you feel as if you're experiencing a part of history.

I think that this place is great for anyone who wants to find out more about the secrets of the pros in Hollywood. Many of the rides or attractions in the park are designed to inform the visitors about how certain movies are made. I love the Backdraft and the tram tour. In addition, the Citywalk just outside the park is a great shopping and dining area. You can catch a movie at the end of a day in Universal Studios.

This is probably one of the busiest airports in the world, yet I found it to be quite easy to navigate when I used it. Checking in wasn't a big problem and the staff are pretty quick. There are a variety of shops and restaurants in the airport, and although they are pricey there is a lot of choice. The travelers here also tend to be very experienced so it wasn't bad at all.

This is one of the most famous landmarks in Hollywood since it has the celebrity handprints right in front. However the theater itself is quite normal and I enjoyed my experience here. The theaters are large and the seating is very comfortable. The food is on the pricey side but you would expect that in a tourist destination. Overall it was worth it and you should check it out if you are curious!

(i.e. The Gap, Sephora) This mall has several levels, and you could spend a good amount of time here on your first visit. There is parking for $2 every 4 hours, so you can make the most of your visit.

This is a very upscale hotel in downtown Los Angeles, and although I have not stayed here I have attended quite a few events here. I love walking into the lobby where there are fancy chairs and carpets. There are also various rooms on the ground floor for different events and all of them are large and project a very classy image. It has a historic feeling to it. This is one of the best.
