I have been going to Speranza for almost two years now! They have great stylists and great aestiticians (eyebrow wax, etc).

I have been going to Speranza for almost two years now! They have great stylists and great aestiticians (eyebrow wax, etc).
The prices are a little high, but I love the Queen Latiffa Beauty Shop atmosphere.
The owner is a young girl, probably mid-20's. I love supporting businesses owned by women! This woman, though young, knows how to run a salon!
Only problem is that they have kind of weird hours. Like if no one has an appointment in the AM, no one will show up. So, if you need an emergency hair cut at 9am, you may be out of luck. Oh, and they aren't open on Mondays. Other than that, you will be pleased!

I was a member of this 24 Hour Fitness for over a year. I prepaid a year a few months into my membership. When my year was up, I wanted to renew. The "Member Counselor" wanted to charge me...
I was a member of this 24 Hour Fitness for over a year. I prepaid a year a few months into my membership. When my year was up, I wanted to renew. The "Member Counselor" wanted to charge me ANOTHER enrollment and processing fee!!! What's that about???
While I was a member there, there were ALWAYS at least three treadmills out of order, as well as a few ellipticals and several spinning bikes. I took the spinning class twice a week for about 3 months and I can honestly say that in three months, the same broken bike NEVER got fixed!
I went down the street and joined Fitness 19 and got three years for $250! Don't join this cult!

BUT, the service is just terrible. From a cursing waitress to taking over an hour to get our food.
For me, going out to eat is not just about the food. It is about how you are treated. When we are paying over $15 in gas just to get there, I expect it to be a fun experience.
I contacted the manager of this particular store and he promised me that he had mailed me gift certificates (never got them) and offered for us to come in on him. I don't feel like I should have to go in and say to the waitress, "um, yeah. Ted said that he would comp our meals. Can you tell him we are here?" Please....

All I can say is, if you have not yet been here, GO! The service is amazing! The food is to die for! We had our Engagement party here and decided to go back on our wedding night, right from the reception. The chef made us the most amazing dessert (I swear it was 2 feet tall) as a gift to us. They gave us a free bottle of champagne and comped our entrées! We have been back several times since then and it just keeps getting better!
Their entrées are huge, so I would recommend sharing. We usually order two house salads and share an entrée. Then we have room for dessert!

We hired Star Limousine to pick us up from our wedding ceremony site. They picked us up and we instructed them to take us downtown to Maggianos for dinner. Well, they drove us through the shadiest areas of Denver, rather than down I-25, as we expected. Then, the driver pulled over in a really deserted warehouse's parking lot and switched with another guy that pulled up in an old Geo metro.
The driver was to drop us off for dinner and wait for us. We were told he would not go anywhere.
We come out from dinner to find that ALL of our wedding cards and $$ (checks/cash that was in the cards) was gone!!!!
The driver told us he had gone to his girlfriend's for a bite to eat and that she had "cleaned" the limo for him.
Long story short, the owner of this company denied any liability. Sure, if we had left and not planned on seeing him again, I could see that. But we were still paying this guy when our $ went missing!!!!!!!!!!
VERY SHADY!!! Plus, they overcharged us!

I ordered Pain Perdue, which is two fluffy pieces of french toast, served with a cup of vanilla custard and a cup of fresh fruit. TO DIE FOR!
And affordable too! My Pain Perdue cost only $7. And their Mimosas are only $2!!
