This hotel is not far between Hartford and Waterbury which was perfect for me in traveling for my business. It is also near many attractions, colleges, universities, and shopping centers. The rooms were clean and had remote color cable television, phones/dataports, hairdryers, iron/ironing boards and free parking. The rooms were quiet and the staff helpful. No restaurant on site but much is located within a short drive.

This bank started out as a small local one building bank in Bristol. It has grown a bit over the past few decades but it has maintained the small-time feel. The staff knows the majority of their customers. If they meet you once, they will likely remember you the next time. They do not nickel and dime you like some of the larger banks seem to do. The also offer loans such as mortgages or personal loans - both of which I have through this bank. Great place to deal with!

This is a newer location and it is ultra clean and safe. It has a pharmacy, florist, seafood and meat deli. I used the florist shop for my wedding flowers which were gorgeous and the lowest pricing that I found anywhere else. No one can beat their prices with flowers. The floral manager was a doll to deal with and she aimed to please.

This is the closest hospital to the Waterbury area and I love it. I've been going to NBGH since I was a child and now my children have been born there. THey have a great Maternity ward and nursery....
This is the closest hospital to the Waterbury area and I love it. I've been going to NBGH since I was a child and now my children have been born there. THey have a great Maternity ward and nursery. The doctors are highly competent and the neighborhood is safe.

Dr. Dreiss delivered each of my siblings and many of my friends as well as each of my children and the majority of my friend's children. He is an amazing GYN MD - caring, professional and easy to talk to. He is very family oriented himself as is apparent when entering his office - it is coated with pictures of his wife and his girls from birth to their current ages. He loves what he does and truly cares about his patient's well being and comfort. I cannot recommend this doctor enough. This country needs more doctors like him!

I've been going to Bristol Gold's Gym for 15 years now and have witnessed it transform from a sweaty gym, along the lines of someone's basement, to a very modern, top of the line machines & weights, snack/drink bar, ultra clean bathrooms and a friendly staff. The owners truly care about their clients and it shows. They have a variety of classes available, free of charge, such as Spinning, aerobics, pilates, cardio kickboxing, yoga, etc.... all of this for a very competitive and reasonable monthly fee.

This theatre has been around since I was a kid. It is conveniently located within a shopping area which includes a Stop & Shop, 99 Restaurant, a bank, gas station and a liquor store. The movie building itself is quant and historical, relatively speaking. It provides discounted movies that are just after it's prime. For less than 1/2 the normal ticket price - it's a nice deal. It houses many movie theatres which are fairly comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are always clean. Great place for a date night on a modest budget. Better yet, use the difference in savings to splurge on the treats that would normally rob you in a full price theatre.

This is the company to hire for any work around your business or personal residence. I own several residences and had had successive disappointments with previous contractors until Danny's Landscaping was recommended to me. From the first time that I met Danny, I knew that I could trust him. He did an exceptional job for my immediate landscaping needs. He was very professional, very honest, extremely meticulous and hard working. I even had neighbors come over to compliment his work. I recently used him to have a large tree removed and he and his crew did a great job. They are very safety oriented which relieved any worries about my home that I had as this dying tree was located right next to my dwarfed home. They have impressive equipment which allowed the tree to be removed very swiftly. I've been using him for snow plowing and lawn care for the past two years and have never had a complaint (and I'm picky!). I also have found Danny to be extremely reasonable especially for the level of quality work that he performs. I cannot recommend this company enough. I know that I will NEVER switch again. This is truly a hidden gem!!!!

It is conveniently located .25 mile from Mattatuck Museu, 1/2 miles from the Brass Mill Center and Macdermid, two miles from Seven Angels Theatre , three miles from Teikyo Post University , five miles from the New England Railroad Museum, nine miles from IBM, fifteen miles from Lake Compounce Amusement Park, and twenty three miles from Yale University. I was pleased to receive complimentary high speed Internet access.
