Large selection of natural and organic dairy products including milk, yoghurt, butter, and eggs.
Many types of eggs to choose amongst as well: Multi-coloured hens eggs, quail eggs, and even ostrich eggs if you're lucky.
You can get your milk in an old fashioned glass container, but if its your first time buying milk in the glass container, you have to put down a $2 deposit fee. Then, when you come back to get more milk, you return the empty bottle and never have to pay a deposit fee again.
Nice little place with lots of cow nick-nacks to choose from as well.

Pike Place Market is not only a tourist attraction (Try convincing the locals of that). It is an actually functioning market that locals DO shop at. So therefore, if you're a tourist visiting the Market, please be aware that locals do attempt to use the market as much as possible. Don't stand in the narrow aisles gawking at the fruit. Please move to the side so that others can pass. Also, don't try to walk with your entire group through the market. Be polite and walk in a front-to-back line, instead of a side-by-side line which again, blocks the narrow passageways.
If you want to talk to your friends or gab on the cellphone, please be polite and not only move out of the center of the aisle where people are walking, but maybe step outside so that you're not blocking the stalls which rely on sales to stay open.
Do not try to park at Pike Place Market. It is impossible. Park in the public parking garages on Western Ave. Do not get feisty with the locals who are just trying to buy flowers or some veggies. We have just as much right to be here as you do. Please be respectful of others and don't block the aisles. I knwo there's alot to see here, and you want pictures of everything, but if you must take pictures, do it from the edges of the aisle, not the middle. Do not stand in the middle of the aisle and talk with your friends. Do not allow your small children to run around the market unattended. No, they can't have 'just one flower' for free---the flower ladies and gentlemen are dependent upon people buying their flowers.
Please realize that Pike Place Market is no more a tourist attraction than Safeway is. It is a functional, operational market. It is very interesting and very diverse, but please be a respectful tourist and understand that blocking the aisles and gathering around the booths does not do any service for the local merchants.

Sunset Bowl is located on the corner of NW Market St & 15th Ave NW in Ballard, just over the Ballard Bridge and on the left-hand side of Safeway.
There are always tons of people here, which makes it more fun. Weekend nights is "Bowl in the Dark' or some such thing, where they turn off the lights and the pins and balls glow in the dark. This is mostly attended by teenagers and the like.
This is a really fun place to go, especially if you live in the boonies of Seattle, like Ballard and Crown Hill.
Tons of fun, lots of people, lots of fun and not expensive at all!

I love Bullwinkles. It's a perfect place to take your kids if there's nothing else that they can find to do. There is a go-cart track, tons of arcade games, skee-ball, etc. There is a food court and a restaurant. I've never eaten at the restaurant but I hear that it is basically run-of-the-mill family food with tons of chicken fingers and hamburgers, etc.
Also: laser tag, batting cages, and virtual roller coaster.
Found it is best to avoid this place on holidays and weekends unless you want to be overrun with the 12 and under crowd. Go during the day on a weekday and you'll practically have the whole place for yourself. Fun entertainment.
Attractions can be expensive, depending on what it is. Most range around $5 per person per attraction.

Enjoyable zoo right close to Downtown Seattle in the neighborhood of Fremont. Not far at all to drive or even take the bus if you don't want to pay $3.50 to park.
Admission is $10 per adult, which is a bit steep. Also, unlike Point Defiance Zoo, there is no discount for King County residents. There is an additional $1 fee if you want to go into the Butterfly House.
Also be aware that from October-March, the zoo is only open until 4pm, so don't plan on being there later than that, because they will hustle you out.
Large selection of animals and exhibits. Bring your own food if youwant to eat because restaurants here are a bit expensive.
All in all, the zoo itself is great but is very much expensive between parking, admission, and food. I think this is a shame because I know of many lower-income families who just find it prohibitively expensive to visit this zoo that sits just blocks from their houses.

I was very disappointed in this aquarium. it's terribly expensive to get in ( considering that there's no Zoo attached, etc. Also, the aquarium is very small so I find the admission to be far out of range for something of this size).
I found the staff to be most unhelpful, although it should be noted that I visted last summer and it seemed that the only employees there were high schoolers either volunteering or working here as a summer job. They were far more interested in yapping with their friends than they were helping out patrons.
The exhibits themselves were fine, but I wish there were more of them showing the absolutely diverse aquatic and marine life that the South-Eastern Atlantic has. I think they should get a clue from the Seattle Aquarium which does an excellent job of highlighting local and regional aquatic life.
I left the SC Aquarium feeling like I read a book where the last chapter was cut out. I felt like there was so much more potential here. I was not the only one feeling this way--I had a nice chat with a family who were leaving at the same time I was, and they had driven from Greenville and were sorely disappointed in the aquarium.

Sometimes, living in SC, it's easier to drive to CHarlotte and visit Carowinds than it is to drive to Atlanta for Six-Flags.
Carowinds is nice. Alot of kids here all the time, usually on school field trips, especially for band and cheerleading because of all the band and cheerleading competitions they have at the ampitheater.
Large variety of rides and something is definitely here for everyone. As with all amusement parks, food and parking are expensive, so maybe bring a pick nick lunch or stop at fast food on the way in rather than spending $7 on a hamburger here.

This is a very fun place to stop at if you're in Las Vegas. Not only do they have a history of M&M's but they also have a multi-level gift shop (Basically the whole thing is a multi-level gift shop) with every thing imaginable in M&M form.
There is also a part of the store which has M&M (plain and peanut) in every colour imaginable. THey're kind of expensive (up to $15/lb) but a very neat thing if you have someone who just LOVES purple and wants purple M&M's. Some people there were getting married and were getting colour-coordinated M&M's as party favours for their wedding. I thought that was neat.
THere is a history of M&M walking tour you can go through and at the end they give you a tiny bag of M&M's as a gift.

Lost Sea is in Sweetwater, TN, and is the site of the world's largest underground lake. You walk very deep underground and they tell you the history of the cave. You can get on a boat and go into the lake with tour guides and see some of the fish that live in the lake. Then they turn off all the lights and show you how dark it is.
Back in the olden days, the cave was used as a bar, and something about alcohol mixing with atmosphere makes you drunker the higher above the earth you are (basically it takes more to get drunk in SC (below sea level) than in Denver (1-mi above sea level).
So all of these old timers would go down into the cave to drink and not feel drunk, but would start walking towards the exit and get stone-cold drunk and fall down the steps. I thought it was funny, and well worth the visit.

This is a great place to go if you're planning a party or school carnival because they have EVERYTHING you'd possibly need, from crepe-paper streamers to stuffed animal prizes to everything in between.
This is a really fun store to go to even if you don't have a party or school carnival planned. Kids love it because it's like a Toy Wonderland for them to walk around through.
Make a stop here if you're traveling through Columbia.
