It's nice to have a local bookstore where you can go to actually touch and take a look at what you are buying. Online is good, but nothing matches the feeling of searching rows of book shelves for just the right read for a weekend. The staff here is superb! They will track down even the most difficult to find book.
I think the nicest part of the store is the rare book case. From kitschy noir paperbacks to rare local history books, Bookman has everything. Inexpensive paperbacks have their own storefront.
