I found this place when my friends and i want to try something new. we drove on
Kapiolani Blvd and one of my friends recommend us to go there. so, we decided to try Hong Kong food on that day.
The price is reasonable, not too expensive!
One of the specialties at Hong Kong Orchid Cafe that i like is their beef stew won ton min.
I also like their ham hocks with preserved vegetable.
My friend ordered baked pork chop on rice and fook ken fried rice which are really good too.
Price range from $3.50. to 12.
They're open seven days a week until midnight

My friends from New York came to visit me in honolulu. so, my girlfriend and i took them to Star of Honolulu. It's one of the famous dinner cruise in honolulu. Their customer service is great! Food is also perfect! We very enjoy the dinner.
They also have a good hula show as well.
Parking is available but you have to get validated by buying something in Aloha tower shopping mall.
after you get validated, you will pay $2 for the parking. it could cost you more if you don't validate your parking ticket!
Recommendation!
Please be on-time or be there earlier , otherwise, you might miss your dinner. they normally don't wait for customers that come late. So, RUNNNN! if you know you're late ... .^_^

If you don't like plain malasadas, they also have cream malasadas and chocolate malasadas for you too.
Other than Malasadas, Champion has pastries (chinese style) as well.
Ohh, they also have a good deal for breakfast.
Champion Malasadas also get an award for its famous malasadas in the competition in 2004 (if my guess was right)....
Overall , thier malasadas are very good! price is very reasonable too!

They always have a good deal depending on the week. I like their meat section. fresh meat and more choice to choose from. I also like its service in the way that they open 24 hrs. I go to shopping late sometimes.
However, i would comment about its cleanness. i feel like it's kind of dirty and give me an old feeling inside. my Japanese girlfirend always say that Daiei in Japan is so much cleaner than the one in Hawaii... and i agree with her...
sometimes we see some birds inside the store try to look for food.

They have a very good cookies with wonderful ingredients. Their cookies are tropical themed and come with chunks of fruit such as, pineapple mango, and so on. They also have a delicious chocolate shortbread cookies or cookies dipped in chocolate that i really like.
Feel free to have some samples at thier kiosk or thier stores, i'm pretty sure that you will like thier cookie....

The food is great! All food (steak, chicken, shrimp, lobster and vegetables) are prepared on a traditional tepan grill. they also have a good sushi as well.
However, i would say the price is expensive compare to other japanese restaurants.
They are also crownded too. if you don't like to wait, i would recmmend you to find some place else.
Ohh.. the parking is terrible. There are a few spaces for parking. you can't park your car by yourself , have to valet-parking.
The customer service is not that good.
The only thing is good is the food tastes wonderful!

The food is prefect. i like thier chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, chicken curry, barbecue ribs, and Chef Glick’s jambalaya.
the band and entertainment varies from Hawaiian, Jazz, to R&B depending on the day and time.

They also have happy hours called "Zero Gravity" ( t think) begine from 3 to 7pm.
Open Hour: 11am-10pm, bar to 2am.

the resturant will provide you a wide range of well-prepared Japanese standards served in modern but cozy surroundings.
the recommend menu for lunch would be the Teishoku Combo ( which is comprise of two full-size entrees with rice, miso soup, oshinko (pickles) and kobachi ).
If you like Ramen , i would recommend you to get
Mini-Combo which is a smaller serving of ramen that comes in a variety of selections. In addition,The Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura is another good choice as well.

The atmosphere in Panya gives me a trendy feeling with marble tables, and modern chairs, and decent lighting.
Bread is good ! Also, some drinks are good too such as fresh squeezed Double Apple Juice or Ginger Red Carrot Juice, except from coffee menu.
Overall, I think It’s a good place to grab some bread and coffe for breakfast. In addition, it's good for chill-out with friends in the evening because the other half of the bakery is a café.
