Admission fee is pricey (around $34.99 for adult), even the local's price is stil expensive. I would recommend you to find a discount coupon from tourist magazines (This Week Oahu, Oahu Gold, etc.) before you go.
The food inside is expensive. If you can grab something before you get in that would be the best to save your money!
There is plenty of free parking (maybe because of its expesive admission fee..nobody want to pay that high for waterpark)
If you don't have car, you can take the Bus no.40 or 40A to go there. it probably takes around 1 1/2 hours to get there (not including the waiting time).
Their staffs are really friendly and helpful.
Overall, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is good for the family and group of friends that want to find other activities to have fun rather than going to beach. of course, it is the fun that come with high price.

Their smoothies are excellent! Their smoothies are perfectly blended with a few bits of fresh fruit mixed in and the boost that you choose.
What is "boosts" ?
These are an extra shot of a specified nutritional need. It can be added free of charge to you smoothie. For instane, protein boosts, fiber boosts, energy boost and several more.
These are some of my favorite smoothies:
Orange-A-Peel - fresh orange juice, nonfat vanilla yogurt, strawberries, and bananas.
Razzamatazz - Orange sherbert, strawberries, raspberry juice and bananas.

I also like thier decor inside as well. it give me an energy with brightly color interior and upbeat music.
The price ranges from $3.50 to $5 which i think it's a bit pricey for just a beverage. it's cost you about the same if you get Mini-plate from other food restaurants.. don't you think?

Afther doing a bid on priceline for a 4 star hotel, I got the Hawaii prince hotel offered around 120 USD Per night which i think it is really good price for 4 star hotel. The rooms all face the ocean and yacht's port. You will have amazing views if you stay in high floor because you can also see Diamond Head and the whole ocean. You can walk to go shopping at Ala Moana Shopping Center in about 5 minutes the beach or to Ala Moana Mall in about 5 minutes. Thier service is excellent!
The pool is kind of small!
My girlfiend told me that she got spa treatment and massage from here and she said they have a good deal on the SPA massage too.. Service is also excellent!
Overall, Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki offers you nice accomodations, beautiful views, great location and reasonable prices. You will enjoy your vacation at Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki .

I always shop my school supplies at Fisher Hawaii, especially the one in Downtown because it's near my university. They carry a wide range of office/school supplies from pens to office furniture - chair, table, and so on. another branch that i like to go is the one on Cooke St. this branch is a huge warehouse. if you order office furnitures from them, they also have assembling service for you with a reasonable service charge.
Their price is definitely cheaper than other suppliers -OfficeMax and Office Depot.
Even though it's kind of hard to find the stuff , you can ask for some help from thier staffs. They are really helpful.
Because the warehouse is kind of dirty, you might have to get rid of all the dust that cover the items.
Please make sure or check the item you pick is not open yet. sometimes i got missing items in my package that i bought.
Parking is available, but limited.

I'm sure that thier smoothies will give you a refreshing feeling after you sip it...
My favorite are Strawberrie Smoothie, Guava slush with chocolate ice cream, and pasion fruit slush.
Thier price is not too bad compare to its leading competitor - Jamba Juice. It's definitely cheaper to get smoothie from Thirst Aid Station rather than Jamba Juice.
Although their smooties are really good, some of them are too sweet for me...

Theier customer services are great and very helpful.
The teller in many branches are well-trained and friendly. they're really nice. I also like the fact that ASB has many ATM machines for ASB client to withdraw thier money or do thier transaction in most places throughout the island. Some branches are close late or open till 6 pm like American Savings Bank on Liliha Street.
American Savings Bank also has E-banking to serve customers on the internet in order to ease for customers to do thier transactions.

I would say Palama Super Market offer its customers a wide range of Korean food and other ingredients that any other super markets have. In another word, Palama Super Market is not just a super market that specilize in asian food, but they specialize on Korean food. Their shop is pretty bright, neat and clean. they also have a little Korean food court in thier super market.
I like thier meat section. they have a pretty good&fresh short ribs, ribs eye, and a lot more that perfect for BBQ. If you want to do BBQ outside on the weekend, Palama super market is the good place that you can get all kind of meat and ingredients for Korean BBQ.
I also like thier Kim Chee bar as well. They have different kind of Kim Chee and vegetables that you normally on-the side when you have Korean BBQ.
I love their Tae-Gu... I'm really addicted to it! so Yummy. .can't help it!
However, the price is a bit pricey that other super market and parking lot is kind of limited. But, i hope you will enjoy shopping at Palama super market. I still ike to go there once in a while.

It is a place that you can shop everything that represent Hawaii within a few hours. (o f course, for tourists only). normally, locals don't really shop from Hilo Hattie except they want to get something nice for thier friends that come visit Hawaii... ( that's just my opinion).
I'm not local either.. Actually, i'm a foreign student who live here a few years. but i really feel that Hilo Hattie is for tourists. I'm sure that you can find something similar to what Hilo Hattie has for cheaper price in hawaii.. It's just convenience for tourists that want to go to one place and get things that they all want in one time.
However, i still shop over there sometimes , but not for myself. I bought some souveniers for my friends in my home country. For me, Hilo Hattie is a good brand to represent a good hawaiian souveniers for my friends and family.
Overall, i like thier customer services though ( ex: free shuttle, welcome "Aloha" drink, shell lei, and so on.) but, i think it's kind of expensive in certain items.
Good place for tourists, but maybe not for locals!

Foodland Super Market is always the first choice for me to shop my grocery stuffs. They have many branches throughout the island to serve you. I always go to Foodland at Ala Moana Center and Foodland on Beretania Street.
What i really like about foodland are their cleanness and thier customer services. I remembered that there is one cashier at Beretania street that provides really good service and has a great great smile! ^_^ ... very impressive..
Foodland has a wide range of products for you to shop. they also have a good deal for certain products every week. I also like thier deli department as well.
Hope you guys enjoy shopping at Foodland too...

I'm normally order a half-sandwich combo ($5.95), including a bag of chips and mini cookie for dessert. there are soup combo and salad combo at the same price as well.
Your choices of sanwiches are baked ham, turkey or rotisserie chicken, and more.
Thier turkey and avocado sandwich is good!
Ohh, for salad, i like thier Caesar salad.
Overall, i would recommend this restaurant for anyone who like to try good fresh sandwishes, soups, and salads instead of getting them from Subway.
