One stop shop for all your craft needs! It's huge and everyone that works there is usually pretty knowledgable and crafty themselves. They also have craft workshops to teach you how to do things. It's not like Babies R Us, where all the employees are dim witted and teenagers that don't have a clue about baby products. At Michael's, they know what they're talking about and can help you. And they have everything! paints, holiday decorations, thread, frames, etc etc. There's no better place for crafts than Michaels

It's a big cluttered and packed small warehhouse type of place. Sometimes you can find really great finds, but usually not. I think TJMaxx is much nicer and has better deals and is more organized. A lot of the stuff at Tuesday morning is unoganized, thrown around, stuffed onto shelves, broken, and overpriced. You really have to dig for savings, and I don't think it's worth it. It's mostly just junk! Broken junk!

This place knows their popcorn! And it all tastes so good! Great for gifts and holidays or just to have in your house. They have a whole assortment of flavors, and they let you try any of them in the store. They are creative and yummy! This is family owned and run, too, which is always nice to support. It is located on Shea and 32nd street next to Basha's. If you ever need or want popcorn, go here! They have the best!

This store is in the Kierland Commons, which is a great outdoor shopping mall.
This store has all unique, fun, interesting things. Fun to browse, fun to shop. They also have a little room in the back that is full of original vintage European posters- those ones that are really popular right now, that are from early 1900's labels, art posters, advertisements for champagne or wine, etc. Well, these are the REAL ones. it's really neat to browse through, and you can buy them, too. How cool! The owner has collected them over the years, before they were really popular, so they were much cheaper. Now, everyone wants them, so they're pricier, and he's selling them all. Definitely check out this store!

First, they have a great, sexy restaurant downstairs called Deseo. Definitely check that out! Second, it's right next to the Kierland shopping center, which is very nice and convenient. Third, the rooms are big and nice. The hotel is new, so everything is really, really nice. The pool area is fantastic. This is a great place to stay with kids, or without. The pool area is set up for kids- there's one of those lazy river things that floats all around outside. This is a great resort and I recommend it!

But old! It's Frank Lloyd Wright, and I should preface this with telling you that I don't especially care for that style of architecture. The hotel is very old, and it shows. This was clearly a top-notch, awesome hotel in like the 50's and 60's. Now, it's still all the same as it was back then. And frankly, it kind of smells in there. I know it's supposed to be one of the nicest hotels in Phoenix, but I can think of 10 other resorts which are nicer! The rooms are nothing to brag about- they're old- and that's about it when it comes to the Biltmore. Oh, and every president since Eisenhower or something has stayed here.

The rooms are great, spacious, all the amenities you'd expect from a top-notch resort. The restaurants are great as well, expecially Mary-Elaines. Don't have a wedding here, though. We looked into it, and it is just ridiculously overpriced! They don't give you very much attention, and pretty much just shove you off to the side, even though you're paying a LOT of money. For the same money, you can go to a number of the other equally as wonderful resorts in town, and get a much better wedding. The wedding food would be not very good, and you'd be in an area where many strangers (other guests) can witness your wedding. And no good views! What a rip-off. But if you're just wanting a nice place to stay while in Phoenix, the Phoenician is very nice, and worth a stay. It's also close to downtown Scottsdale, which is where all the restaurants, shopping, and bars are.

They did the job they were hired to do! Reasonable rates, and they weren't lazy and didn't dilly-dally or anything. We had them move all our stuff from one house to the new one across town. They did a great job, took maybe a couple too many breaks, but they were nice, they all spoke English, and they didn't break anything. They were, in fact, very careful about moving everything to be sure that they didn't break anything or scuff anything or any walls. And they didn't. That's very important, and they were professionals who had obviously moved things tons of times, and knew what they were doing. Recommended.

First off, Phoenix magazine claims they have the best cheese selection- this is NOT true. AT ALL. Their cheese selection is very, very small. A step up from a regular grocery store, but they practically nothing. If you're looking for cheese, go to Whole Foods- they have a HUGE selection of cheese, and a very knowledgable staff- and you can even try any of the selections, which you can't at AJ's.
That said, AJ's is wondrful for other stuff. Wine. Their wine selection is great, and their wine stewards are very helpful. They also have a great, huge selection of cigars. Their meats are great, produce completely overpriced, and already-prepared foods are a great alternative to eating fast food! The breads and pastries are fabulous. Leave everything else to buying at the regular grocery store, like soap and toothpaste.

Great baby clothes at great prices! It's high-quality material and everything is totally cute, too. There are always sales, and you can always get really great stuff for a fraction of the already low prices. The patterns are cute and fun, and colorful. And there's always matching hats, matching socks, sunglasses and hairbows. Cute! The store is divided into boys on one side and girls on the other. Then, it's by size, which is really convenient and easily laid out for quick shopping. Highly recommended!
