A decent priced sushi restauraunt, considering that stores around Gen Grill are quite expensive. Not much of a dine in restauraunt, more of a sushi to go place. I, myself, LOVE sushi. The sushi is typical stuff, nothing spectacular, but it is fresh. Try the UCI rolls or the unagi rolls-they're really good!

Juice it up is just like Jamba Juice, but more convenient to those living in UCI. I like everything they offer, aside from the Chai tea. Drinks usually cost about $4 for a 24 oz. New University offers coupons for Juice it up, which makes it cheaper. I wouldn't buy the drinks unless I had the coupon.

Cha for Tea offers drink selections where you can actually taste the tea, as opposed to a lot of other boba places. You can just buy another drink and add green tea yourself and get the same effect....

I don't know why it's so popular. I think it's because of all the hype. They have helpful and friendly workers there that focus on customer satisfaction, but it's not worth the price of the drinks.

Marie Callender's should stick to its specialty-pies! Their pies are the best I have ever had. On the other hand, the restaurant is so-so. Food takes long to arrive, and is nothing great. The food is usually too salty, or too boring. They are known for their pot pies, although I have never tried that. I woudl not recommend this.

I love Chinese food, but this is my favorite restaurant! I usually go to the cheaper version of Sam Woo. There are three sections of Sam Woo in Irvine. They are all adjacent. The main one is the most expensive, the next one is cheaper, and then there is a to-go. I usually go to the cheaper one, since the food quality is the same. Prices are moderate. The food is great, authentic Chinese food! Try the black bean clam dish.

Olive Garden is an average family italian restaurant. Good if you like italian food, but there are better restaurants, like buca di beppo. Selections include lasagna, spaghetti, etc, typical italian food. I stopped going here because it wasn't spectacular or anything. I find that a lot of other people like it, so try it out. It's not too expensive, so it's worth a shot.
