Hands On Atlanta does a great job of organizing individuals who may not have a lot of spare time into effective volunteer forces, for a terrific range of projects. No matter what your interest, HOA can help you find a good place to volunteer, and can ensure that you are effective while you are there. I've been introduced to great organizations and events: Project Open Hand, the Goodwill Book Sale, and of course Hands On Atlanta Day, among others!
