Agh, just got my dry cleaning back from Zips, and I must say I'm dissapointed. Although their staff is much friendlier than most of the other discount dry cleaners in the area, one of my main beefs with Zips is that my shirts always come back wrinked. I hate ironing, so one of the main reasons I use a dry cleaners is so I don't have to waste a day ironing. Now I have to re-iron all of my shirts. This has happened on several occassions at Zips. The place across from White Flint, although further from me, seems to do a better job.

I didn't by my car there, but it was my stop for regular maintenance. It's a dealer, so of course it will be much more expensive than going somewhere else. But I always thought the were very honest and friendly. One guy went out of his way to help me with a replacement headlight I bought from parts I was having trouble installing.

This is usually the first place we come to see a movie. They are continually adding new restaurants, like Red Rock Canyon (worth checking out!). The best part about Rio is walking around during the summer time. They've done a much better job of making this a destination, as opposed to Kentlands, where the foot traffic is much lighter.
The theaters are good, with more than enough options to choose from (although it'd be nice to see some independent movies come in, with all that space). Good sound, good pictuers, comfortable seats and usually a pretty well staffed and organized concession stand.

We love coming down here to grab a bite at one of the many restaurants and then checking out a movie. This is where we first saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding before it made it big.

This old bank building converted to a restaurant has a great atmosphere and delicious food. The ceilings and columns tower over you and it can get quite loud, but lively. I remember the food being some of the best, but portion sizes, not exactly huge ... but then again, you're not going to Bennigans.
