This office is located between downtown and the mall on a main street. There is ample parking in the back but you must go down an alley to get to the lot. It is easier to go out the rest of the alley than to go back to the street unless you are turning right onto the street and not crossing traffic. the office is very plain, no frills but is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The nicest thing I like about this dentist is that he does one patient at a time unlike at the clinic where people are stacked up and then have to wait while the dentist goes back and forth between patients. the usual time for an appointment is 45 minutes no matter what the service. That is good and you usually do not have to wait past your appointment time. he runs a tight ship and that is a good thing. He keeps up to date on equipment and services. You get a toothbrush with each cleaning and a sample dental floss. He has many .long standing patients because of his service. The fees are reasonable and he accepts insurance.. He even walks each patient out of the room and to the receptionist's desk and wishes you a good day.

Dr. Meffley has been in business for many years, having taken over the practice from another family member. The office is located on the main street that runs from downtown out to the mall and is across from the college. There is ample parking in the front and it is easy access since the one end of the lot is by the corner with a traffic light and the other end is on a side street. The building is well maintained both inside and out. The staff is very friendly and helpful and includes a receptionist, a billing person, and several technicians who help with fitting and repairs. there is a large waiting room with toys for any children who are waiting with parents. The fitting area is also very large. the seating is comfortable. Dr. Meffley is a very thorough optometrist who is very attentive to th e patient. He is very concerned about his patients and if he has to do a referral to a specialist ensures the patient that the specialist is the best for whatever problem exists. He will then follow u with the specialist to be sure that proper treatment has occurred.

This is a long standing tradition in Defiance. The decor reminds you of an old time building-tin ceiling and huge bar that runs the length of the first floor. There is a banquet room upstairs that can be rented for parties. There is seating at the bar and then several tables and chairs throughout the downstairs room. Staff is friendly and the bar is always clean. The one drawback is that it is sometimes smoke-filled, although not as much as it used to be. Breakfasts are wonderful-omelets, eggs and the infamous brain sandwich. Lunch and dinner are also served and each week the menu appears in the Sunday paper with daily specials. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. They have the traditional green beer on St. Patrick's Day. The bar is an old-fashioned one-huge and well polished. Parking is along the street. It is at an intersection so it is usually;y easy access-parking is parallel. It is located at the end of the downtown business district. Its reputation is well know throughout the area. Locally owned and operated by the same family that began the business.

This restaurant is located in an old barbershop in downtown Blakeslee-a town you will miss if you blink. It has grown over the years, but has kept its same style. People come from miles away to eat there. The menu is written above the bar and stays the same-steak, chicken, fish and shish kabobs. The restaurant was started by an immigrant family from Syria and is now being run by the third generation. They serve Wednesday through Saturday nights. Tthe meal comes with wonderful potato chips made on the premises-thicker and deep fried-You cannot stop eating them. they also sometimes will serve appetizers that fill you up. they have two special drinks, the Mose Hopper and another drink that no one knows the recipe for. the Mose Hoppers is named for the original owner. You can make reservations. If you do not you will probably at for a table. The restaurant has not changed. It is simple, not fancy at all and is dark inside. It is clean and the staff is very friendly..
