I used to take TheBus everywhere I go (before I got a car). It was such a good deal and it really is still today. Now for two dollars, you can get a round trip to wherever you want. That is much cheaper than driving and buying gas these days. TheBus has changed a lot since I last used it. They have redesigned their exterior and interior and are more technologically advance.
On a personal note, the other day, I had to check the bus schedule for my mom. She went out to the bus stop at that time and TheBus came on time and she was impressed with the services.

Shanghai's is a new restaurant located in the DIscovery Bay building. They have a variety of asian foods and the prices are very affordable. I always go there for their Happy Hour between 4-6 for $3 martinis and half priced pupus. Its so worth it and the martinis are huge! It's so good. My favorite is Sweet Dreams. But most of all, I love the decor and interior design there. Because it is fairly new and sort of underground, most locals don't know about it but if you go there, I bet you'll love it too!

I had lunch there the other day and the potato cream chowder was the best I ever had. I also tried their Kim Chee Fried Rice before and it's so good although the menu is a little pricey. Their poke is ono but the portion is not that big.
Big City Dinner seems to be a family oriented restaurant but they also have good draft beers and a big TV to watch sports. I'm glad to see this restaurant growing bigger and opening more locations.

I ate at Auntie Pastos a few times and really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think the feeling in there more comparable to a NY city scene. It's very dim with light music in the back ground. Just a very chill place to eat and hang out. The prices are decent and if you go in before 7PM, all entrees are $7. It's a pretty good deal for pasta. Their creme burlee is awesome too!

This drive inn started on Liliha Street (really a hole in the way but i swear they have the best prices and tastest food there) and now expanding all over the mainland. It's really amazing how a little restaurant turned into something so big. There are L&Ls every corner you turn it seems. I'm not surprised though because their katsus and hamburgers are the best!
