As a long time member of BECU I have saved so much money banking with them over the years. Their fees and rates are better than most banks, their deposit rates for savings and CD's are higher too. The number of locations is still small, but is enough to do the job. Most of your interaction with BECU can be done through online banking anyway. If you qualify to bank there and choose not to you are throwing away your money!

It's nice to do the package together so you get your oil change and a great car wash at the same time. Prices can be expensive so wait for those ValPak coupons which seem to come at least once a month.

Johnson's Home and Garden is smaller than the chain stores but the customer service and knowledge of associates is excellent. It's a bit cramped and dingy in there but the upcoming remodel should fix that. The kids will love the free popcorn (mom and dad will too!) Pricing can be a bit higher than the national chains, but the convenience makes up for it.
