Milwaukie Tri Cinema is small, as indicated by it's name there are only 3 theatres. At any given time there are not many people in attendance, so you have a good chance of getting the theatre to yourself or maybe sharing it with a few others (depending on time of day/day of week). The overall appearance has improved inside and out within the last decade, but it still has an older feeling than other theatres. The theatre is a lot cleaner and well run, and shows the same types of movies as the bigger theatres (except here you can expect them to play a lot longer). This wouldn't be a good theatre if you were wanting to see the latest hollywood big budget flick on opening night, but for a relaxed movie theatre experience in a charming theatre, this is a great place to go. The only problem can be finding close parking.

Graham's isn't as fancy as Hallmark but it has many of the same products -- cards and gifts. The employees have always been friendly and it is a nice place to just browse through if you are in downtown Milwaukie. Graham's also has a supply of art products, including paper and special pens/pencils/pastels. I don't think there is anything this store has that you wouldn't be able to find at another store, but it is worth checking out if you are in the area. I would summarize it as just a nicely kept gift shop type place.

While I don't know if Ozzie's is necessarily hidden, it most definitely isn't as well known as it should be for the taste of the food. I crave the sanwiches from Ozzie's often, and there is just something about them that can't be duplicated. Some of the sandwich recipes are so original and usually end up being another favorite after I work up the nerve to stray from my current favorite. It might be "deli food," but it's good nonetheless. The setting is nothing fancy, but with the good food and prices it doesn't really matter. RECOMMENDED!

The Stardust Diner is a little silver/metallic/metal diner that you can't miss. It is small inside, but cute & cozy as well. The service was great when I went for breakfast, and I remember the menu had all the classic choices. I ordered pancakes and was pleasantly surprised at both the large serving size and the taste. The price wasn't too bad either. This isnt a 5 star restaurant but it's good diner food for good prices.

Wilsonville family fun center has it all -- arcade games, pizza, laser tag, bumper boats, batting cages, miniature golf, go carts, AND MORE! This is an excellent place for kids, but also for adults who want to remember what it was like to be younger. The wide variety of activities ensures that every member of the family will find something they enjoy. The one downfall, as with most locations like this, is that it can get pretty crowded.

El Palenque is a Salvadorian & Mexican restaurant located along 17th avenue in the increasingly popular Sellwood area. Every person I know who has tried it LOVES it. I thought that the service was excellent and the restaurant itself was small and cozy. The menu was adequate with a variety of food choices. I found the food to be good, but not as good as other Mexican food I had tried. I am not compelled to return for another meal, but I also would not be opposed to it. I would recommend that everyone give this place a try at least once, especially because of the fair prices.

When I went to Beaches I was so impressed by the location--you really feel like you are at the beach. The views of the Columbia are amazing from any seat in the house. I went for lunch during the week and the restaurant was pretty crowded, so I can't even imagine how it could get during busier hours. I ordered clam chowder and wasn't impressed, it reminded me more of canned clam chowder than what should be restaurant quality. I would give this place another chance due to the great service and the positive aspects mentioned above, but I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed to begin with.

Throughout the years and as a former dancer, I have attended various performances of OBT. The Nutcracker is consistently good and a favorite. The "Signatures" performance that I attended was very impressive, with a variety of different themed numbers that had 2-5 dancers in each routine. I am always impressed by the quality of both the dancers and the performances at OBT, and it is worth the money for the experience. I only wished they performed more throughout the year!

This is a really fun restaurant that features a bar area as well. The menu is outstanding and has a wide variety for a good value. From the two things I sampled I would say that the food is tasty as well. The employees are very friendly and socialable. It does get a little crowded and was pretty noisy when I visited, but nothing that detracted from the overall experience.

I had heard wonderful things about La Carreta from people for years. I finally tried it and I don't think the food lived up to the hype. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as other Mexican restaurants I have tried. I ordered a taco salad and it didn't include very many ingredients, and just overall wasn't very satisfactory. I would try some of the other quality Mexican restaurants in and around Portland before I would go back here.
