As a major coffee lover I was disappointed when the local coffee house closed until doing some searching for a coffee and tea shop and coming across this little treasure. Not only do they have some of the best and hardest to find coffees and teas the prices have always been in the "fair" range (you do pay slightly more then grocery store prices though) but they can also at times special order blends if need be for special occasions and holidays. The workers have never given me a bad recommendation for gift giving and at times the specials they offer make it a good idea to stock up.

Travel Solutions has planned 4 out of our 5 cruises that my husband and I have taken in the past 4 years. We tried one national chain for the first and were met with disappointment at the room we were given and the "upgrades" we never received that we were promised. After changing to Travel Solutions though not only have we always only received the best service, the upgrades have been amazing - anywhere from a standard room changed to a balcony to also being sent a $50.00 bottle of champagne on board to thank us for traveling with them. Give them a chance and see what they can offer you if your already planning a trip and unhappy with or just starting out in finding a travel agency. So far they have done us no wrong!

My son is 2 and last weekend I decided I'd wander around the Children's Museum with him, I didn't ever expect him to be interested in the attractions and the sights, but he seemed to be - they have such a hands on place for kids to play, grow and explore if you want to watch your child's face fill with wonder it really is worth the trip downtown to see such a great little piece of history where the kids can have fun with a hands on learning experience.

Kountry Kid Kare is something I use part time when I need to "get away" being a SAHM I have the luxury of leaving my son with them as I want and it doesn't cost me more nor do I have to be a constant regular to leave him there. They are licensed for up to 45 children, have no late fees, none traditional hours being they are there 24/7 and can even have your children overnight as someone is always awake for them, you can even set up time if your expecting so that when labor starts you can leave other children there until a relative can collect them. All are CPR and first aid certified and they have security checks and backgrounds ran on a regular basis.

For their anniversary we sent my mother and father in law to Fenn Valley, the Vineyards and Wine Cellar "store". Being major wine buffs they were in heaven, not only did they have wine tasting, and direct discounts but they also had the area where they could have a nice little romantic picnic and take a tour of the facility and were then allowed to test the wines with a very knowledgeable wine staff to help them choose the best wines to take home for their meals. Personable people and something such as this for a wine lover is certainly the way to go if you want to find an out of the way gift for someone to go spend the day doing.

I feel in love with this shop in a trip slightly out of town. It may not be "right" in this area but just a little off the beaten path and I plan on going back as soon as possible. Inside this rustic little country market is everything a person could want from candies, taffies, chocolates and all the nummy things you don't see every day they also have amazing gift baskets that are filled with all the small delights you just don't seem to find anywhere anymore from old fashioned candies to treats and metal artwork. The workers in the shop are friendly and beyond willing to help you find the perfect gift for someone, the prices are that of a small store - not the lowest but not so exaggerated that you run for the hills and they also deliver to outlying areas if you find the perfect basket for a friend or family member.

Have a seamstress or person that would love the fine art of sewing, look up Sharon and her small shop of quilts and more. Not only does she offer a 10% discount for whole families with classes and shopping but she carries fabrics, sewing notations, stencils and batting. Some of the stencils can also be modified to use for house decoration and painting wood and other home furnishings such as I have. I haven't had the chance to try a class of hers yet but stopped in when one was going on and everyone there was getting totally hands on attention and appeared to be learning quickly and having a great time.

They offer decent pricing and a whole group of people can get in at a lower price then paying per person, being a covered area it also makes a fabulous spot for birthday parties as the rain won't ruin the occasion. They do have planners also that can tell you what a party would cost and the different options available. So if your going with a few people or want to take a large group either way the group will have a great time without the worry of unpredictable weather.

The workers are also great at getting children to sit long enough to determine the sizing needed as most places haven't been able to get my son to sit still. After a near fatal car accident in 98 I was subject to a year of rehab due to a massive head injury. Not only were the rehab people wonderful at working through the tasks no matter how tiny yet daunting they also gave me the chance to express how I felt when I had to learn to rethink everything to get back my short term memory. They really gave me a new lease on life. For a while I was also subjected to in home treatment which gets expensive if not covered by insurance. The cost is about $125 an hour as well as mileage, which insurance was a blessing in that regard but they were understanding and never let me give up even when it was hard for me to remember my address in the beginning. Anyone with any small mental or physical trauma may want to make an appointment with the center to see if possibly they can help you reclaim your life as well.
