This zoo is amazing. A good place to bring your family. There's a lot to be seen - all kinds of cool animals - giraffes, lions, monkeys, etc. They have a park inside where you can rest and also a big play area for kids. I'd probably get membership to this zoo as suggested by most folks.

Scottsdale Running Company carries a wide variety of sporting products and they specifically focus on your running gear. They've got tons of shoes to choose from and lots of accessories also. They organize runs and you'd definitely enjoy joining as their staff is so accomodating and friendly. If you want an alternative, go to this shop.

Just located in northeast Mesa, Salt River Tubing is one destination you wouldn't wanna miss during summer. My officemates and I went here for a mini team building and we all had a good time....
Just located in northeast Mesa, Salt River Tubing is one destination you wouldn't wanna miss during summer. My officemates and I went here for a mini team building and we all had a good time. Basically you float on a big tube on the river while enjoying the spectacular view around you. You can bring in your food and it'll also float with you until you get to your destination and then have lunch/snack from that point.

Another good shop for those who pet fishes. Phoenix Tropical Fish Incorporated has been around for quite a time. They've got a huge variety of freshwater tropical fishes and I'd say some petshops do not sell some of the fish specie they sell. A very great find so go there - you won't regret it

If you maintain a fish tank then you shouldn't miss going to the Glendale Pet Shop. I don't own one right now (but before I do) and when I went here, I just wanna setup a tank again. There's lots of cool freshwater fishes here. They have eveything you need to start a new tank - aquariums, power filters, sands, decors, etc - you name it, they got it.

I bring my daughter here in Desert Canyon Pediatrics. She used to be afraid in clinics and hospitals but not this one. Perhaps its how the place was setup - very cozzy. The doctors here are very professional and they treat your kids very well. Very easy to setup an appointment also.

Desert Canyon Elementary School is a great school. This is the nearest elementary school to my residence and so I enrolled my daughter in here. Even though I enrolled her quite a bit late (schooling already began), there were no problems with admission. My daugher loved her new school on the first day. It has a big playground for kids and the environment is really nice. The teachers and staff in the office are very friendly and accomodating.

Very nice place! My friend brought me here a couple of days ago together with my wife and were just astounded by the beauty of the desert. The trail we took was simply marvelous - lots of desert flowers & plants, butterflies, rabbits, superb scenery. We were also able to view the Monarch Butterfly Exhibit and it was pretty neat to learn something new.

The place is really great and big and the bathrooms are all clean. It can probably house 1,500+ people or more in one big event. Has big parking but you gotta pay for security.
